Tanka's Story is one of my favorites. I was driving and talking to a friend about opening my shelter, and for some reason it had been weighing on my mind for some time but as a child and into adulthood, I had always had a fear of Rottweilers and Dobermans. Im not sure why or what lead me to have this fear but I told my friend, well asked God really, "Lord, i know im going to have to cross paths with both of these breads in my profession please help me get over this fear, help me open my heart to all of them." Is exactly what I said. . AND. . .

Well low and behold the very next day, no lie, this beautiful baby comes strolling down my street just as lost as could be. He had definitely been through some unspeakable abuse and was afraid of everything and everyone. We could barely touch him without him cringing and hidding his bottom. But he had come a very long way as you can see he thinks hes not 100lbs and he is definitely a lap dog at heart and in his reality. Lol. He's the sweetest boy ever! So Obviously who could be afraid of all that love.
