The next generation of responsible pet lovers is ready to learn!

Registration is open for Camp Humane, Animal Humane New Mexico's animal-themed Spring Break camp with sessions for campers ages 8 to 10 and 11 to 13, and one Camp Humane Junior Session for kids ages 5-7.

Good things take time. Give a little time to our Coyote 1025 Pet of the Week, Morgana (A #6212), and you will find one of the best things... a friend for life 🐾

Morgana is a 4-year-old, 67lb Shepherd. She was transferred to AHNM from Torrance County in November. She briefly spent some time in a home but returned because she was showing signs of fear and stress adjusting to a new environment. Morgana can be shy around new people and places, but shows off her affectionate side when she warms up. She will sit for treats and will seek pets and attention from people she is comfortable around.

Going at Morgana's pace would earn her adopter a loving and loyal companion. Meeting any pets and people in her new home is recommended to allow her to put her best paw forward. She has a lot of love to give to anyone who is willing to take the time to receive it.

During these colder months, you need that warm feeling you get in your heart when you welcome a dog into your life.

Our Classical 95.5 KHFM Pet of the Week, Mr. Wiggles (A #81557) was transferred to Animal Humane New Mexico from Farmington Regional Animal Shelter last week. He is a 2-year-old Beagle and Shepherd mix with an affectionate personality. He is easygoing, yet playful, and is quick to fall in love with his humans. Spend a little time with him and he will cozy up beside you and show you his big, sweet smile.

Mr. Wiggles loves to play, go for walks and spend time with you. He likes treats, toys, and company so any home that can give this 57lb love-bug plenty of playtime and attention would be his dream come true!

Mr. Wiggles is available for adoption at AHNM's Main Campus Location on 615 Virginia Street SE. He and all adult dogs are currently have their adoption fees waived through January 21!

She rules with a kind paw over all of our hearts. Our BIG 98.5 Pet of the Week and first featured pet of the 2025, Queenie (A #14152) is royally sweet 👑

Queenie is a 2-year-old, 67lb mixed breed who was transferred to Animal Humane New Mexico in November from Humane Society of Lincoln County. She loves to get out to stretch her legs on walks, gets excited to play with toys, and will sit for treats. She sometimes has a serious expression on her face but she is a very happy girl, especially around people, and she is friendly to other dogs.

Queenie would thrive in an active home. She enjoys the excitement of play and new adventures. However, any home that is ready to open their hearts to this amazing girl would be lucky to have such and sweet and stunning dog.

You can adopt Queenie at Animal Humane's Main Campus Location!
