Today is Koda’s birthday 🎂🐾 My sweet Husky boy just turned 15 years old. For the past decade and a half, he has been my constant companion, my source of joy, and my safe place. Every silly moment, every quiet stare, every wag of his fluffy tail has filled my life with love that words can barely capture. 💛
But this birthday feels different. A few weeks ago, Koda was diagnosed with cancer. 💔 The doctors say the road ahead won’t be easy, and I know time may not be on our side. Yet, every morning he looks at me with those same gentle Husky eyes, wagging his tail as if to remind me that love is stronger than fear, and that he’s still here to comfort me even when I should be comforting him. 🐺✨
Fifteen years ago, I brought home a tiny Husky pup, not knowing he would become my greatest teacher of unconditional love. Today, all I want is to make sure he feels nothing but happiness, peace, and warmth for however long he has left.
Happy 15th birthday, my warrior, my best friend, my heart. 🎉❤️ You’ll always live inside me, no matter what. Forever my Koda. 🌈🐕
