2. Update ID Tags: Ensure your pets have up-to-date ID tags in case they get scared and run off.
3. Create a Safe Space: Set up a quiet, comfortable area with their favorite toys and treats.
4. Avoid Hazardous Foods: Keep BBQ leftovers, alcohol, and chocolate out of reach. These can be harmful to pets.
5. Hydrate and Cool: Ensure your pets have plenty of water and a cool place to stay, especially during hot weather.

🐾What an exciting day!🐾

Simply Diego’s teamed up with Miller Bonded to deliver much-needed supplies to Ruidoso! Miller Bonded had many items donated to their company and we were able to load all of our pet food donations into their huge truck! They are making the trip bright and early tomorrow to deliver all the donations!

Thanks to YOUR SUPPORT, Simply Diego’s is sending over 4,000 pounds of dog and cat food! Lincoln County Humane Society and AnimalVillageNM will be distributing this food to those in need. Let’s give them a big shoutout!

A huge thanks to the local business, Miller Bonded, for donating their time and truck!

Simply Diego’s June 2024 Donation Winner: A Barking Chance!

We’re thrilled to announce that A Barking Chance is the recipient of our $2,000 donation for June 2024! This fantastic organization is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in New Mexico.

Meet Sweet Mazie (full body photo)
Mazie, originally from Roswell, NM, was rescued just minutes before being euthanized, along with her mom and siblings. At approximately 9 months old, Mazie has spent almost her entire life in foster care. She loves squeaker toys, warm laps, and lots of affection. Mazie is now looking for her forever home.

Meet Handsome Remy (close up photo)
Remy, also from Roswell, NM, loves pets so much that getting a good photo of him was a challenge! At about 1 year old, Remy has been in foster care for over 8 months. He enjoys long walks and cuddle picnics with toys. Remy is eager to find his forever family and avoid the euthanasia list forever.

🐱❤️ We had an eventful day at Simply Diego’s after we got word that a kitten got hit in the parking lot! With our friends at we found this little one hiding under a car. Thankfully, our friends at were more than happy to take this baby in! This kitten was hanging out with us at Simply Diego’s, eating some Kitten food, and waiting for his next adventure. We’re thrilled to report this brave kitten is walking and trying to escape already, and we can’t wait to see what mischief he gets into next! 🐾✨
