*Scruffy *
Please welcome Scruffy, aka Sir Scruff-a-Lot.
Scruffy is one of two pups surrendered to us from a less than ideal situation. Scruffy is a Chihuahua cross, possibly with a terrier or poodle. He is a little over 10 pounds and loves to run around and play with his squeaky toys. Since he had very little socialization in his prior life he can be scared by new people or new dogs, but he warms up quickly when treated with kindness. Scruffy has always been with another dog and he will need a family that has a four pawed friend he can play with. Scruffy does well on a leash and will sometimes say hi to other dogs but for now at least he tends to hide behind his foster dad when new people walk by. Scruffy is between one and two years old and appears to be fully house trained. He sleeps through the night in a kennel with his current four-legged friend Dipsie. It would be wonderful if someone is able to adopt Scruffy & Dipsie together but is not imperative. Adoption fee is $195.00.

My sweet boy, Einstein, had passed on today. He was 14 years old. Every day was a gift at that age. He was the sweetest boy. The moment I saw his photo on the adoption website and he literally took my breath away. Although he was deaf with very bad vision, at age 3, I knew I already loved him. I feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful and soft friend for these past 14 years.
