Ever wondered what a chicken looks like on the inside?

Fun fact: Chickens do not have teeth, so they rely on grit (small stones or sand) to help them grind and digest their food in the gizzard. The gizzard is a muscular part of their stomach that uses the grit to break down hard food particles, such as seeds and grains.

Introducing one of our favorite snake patients, Zuine! Zuine is a ball python with a rare genetic trait known as albinism. This unique trait effects her melanin production, resulting in her striking red eyes and distinctive light coloring.
