This small fee will help us continue to provide the high-quality care your pets deserve by allowing us to support our dedicated veterinary team and invest in the tools and resources that keep your pets healthy and happy. Fun fact: Chickens do not have teeth, so they rely on grit (small stones or sand) to help them grind and digest their food in the gizzard. The gizzard is a muscular part of their stomach that uses the grit to break down hard food particles, such as seeds and grains.
