Description: This position, which is based in Santa Fe, provides advanced and specialized support services to the Broadband Director, and other executive levels of management with minimal supervision and direction as assigned. Duties include:

Ensures accuracy and timeliness of executive administrative support services to include, but is not limited to, scheduling meetings and retreats; and preparing agendas and correspondences; handling travel arrangements to include itineraries, flights, car rental, and accommodations.

Provides a high level of customer services and serves as the administrative point of contact between high level external and internal customers and agency staff.

Manages the Director’s calendar, which includes making appointments and prioritizing incoming requests and workflow, as well as handling confidential and sensitive information.

Responsible for document control requiring executive management review and signatures.

Reviews all incoming mail and disseminates accordingly; and more

The name “tamal” comes from the Nahuatl word “tamalli,” which means “wrapped food.” The Aztec, Maya, and Inca civilizations were among the first to create this important food.

Dating back to 8,000 BC, tamales were convenient, nutritious meals for warriors, hunters, and travelers. Additionally, they held sacred significance and were offered to the gods during rituals and celebrations.

Made from masa (corn dough) with a variety of fillings, wrapped in corn or banana leaves, and then steamed. Today, they remain a key part of important holidays and celebrations, such as Christmas, Día de Mu***os, and family events.
