We are so excited to welcome Dr. Sophia Welk as the newest addition to our TLC family! She is a recent graduate of University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband are new transplants to New Mexico. They have cats, dogs, rats, and fish. Dr. Welk will not only see our 4-legged furry friends, as she also has a passion for exotics. She will see reptiles, birds, fowl, pocket pets, and aquatics. She is very excited to meet all of you!

We wanted to let our clients know that our beloved, Dr. Lavin, will be leaving us at the end of June. Her last day will be on Friday June 28. She will be leaving general practice as a whole, and taking a position as a non-Clinical Veterinarian.

Dr. Lavin says, "I am sorry to leave my loyal clients as we have spent years building strong bonds over the years. This is a very difficult decision to make and I hope you can understand that I believe this is the best for myself and family. I wish you the best and hope to see you out and about in the future."

We wish you the best Dr. Lavin!! You will be missed!
