⭐ TRAINING STALLS AVAILABLE ⭐

Located at NOVA Equestrian Center in Aldie, Virginia

Partial Training ($1300/month) includes THREE training rides each week, 1 ride can be substituted for a lesson, 1 ride can be substituted for a water treadmill session
Full Training ($1600) includes FIVE training rides each week, 2 rides can be substituted for 2 lessons, 1 ride can be substituted for a water treadmill session
Amenities include:
• Indoor Arena (200x100)
• Premium sound system to listen to music while you ride
• Water Treadmill sessions INCLUDED in your board
• Outdoor ring (280x140) currently being renovated
• Covered 6 horse Exercise Walker

Only Jan Byyny could convince me that letting my baby horse run around XC, in winter, on the windiest day, on a long loopy rein is a good idea. Letting them learn and making their own mistakes is the hardest thing but so rewarding in the end! So proud of how far he’s come

We had a full barn yesterday with our annual Pony Club Halloween Party last night! All the kids came up with some creative costumes for their horses and rode great. Everyone got lots of candy from trick or treating stall door to stall door

Beginner riders welcome to learn how to ride on our sweet lesson horses. We have a great group of young riders participating in our on-site Pony Club. With students actively competing in dressage, showjumping, eventing, and Pony Club rallies.

If you are staying in Virginia for the winter, take advantage of our big indoor arena for keeping in shape and tuned up on your horse or ours.

I have extensive experience producing confident and well-rounded horses and riders by providing a strong foundation and good horsemanship. I have developed many horses with no prior eventing experience to the upper levels of eventing and show jumping. I am committed to providing a positive and supportive learning experience and atmosphere to all aspects of riding, teaching, and horse care.

Welcome to Lisa Apted Eventing!

Lisa Apted is an experienced upper level event rider. Her objective is to produce confident and well-rounded horses and riders by providing a strong foundation and good horsemanship. With determination and hard working qualities, she has developed many horses with no prior eventing experience to the upper levels of eventing and show jumping. While riding and training is a large part of her life, teaching is her passion. She has been privileged to work with many top riders and trainers, including Leslie Law (Olympic Gold Medalist), Lainey Ashker (5* event rider), Donna Gatchell (Intermediare I Dressage Rider and VADA/NOVA trainer of the year for the past 5 years), Skyeler Icke-Voss (4* event rider and top Young Rider coach), and Ashley Adams (5* event rider), to provide her with the necessary education to teach a variety of students and horses of all levels. From managing full upper level show barns to being an instructor, she is committed to providing a positive and supportive learning experience and atmosphere to all aspects of riding, teaching, and horse care.
