We finally got a chance to practice some winter camping minus the snow. Dogs are learning how to relax on the tether line. Good 8 mile run on a beautiful trail here in Aldrich.

My little sausge pre-heating for upcoming winter. Her coat helps maintain her temp. Yes its hot. No shes not panting. She has lots of shade but perfers to be in the sun.

Dallas Seavey got this race in the bag. Dallas is the Tom Brady of Mushing. Not only is he in the lead by 30 miles but he had a two hour penalty added on earlier in the race for killing a moose on the trail and not gutting it properly. This is why i love mushing. Anything can happen out there.
