👋Last, but most certainly not least in our Meet the Consultants posts, meet the owner of ABA Consultants, Phil Brocato!

Philip Brocato is the owner of ABA Consultants, a consultative firm specializing in employing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Organizational Behavior Management.

With over 15 years' experience, Phil helps teachers and organizations get “unstuck” and accelerate toward high performance. 💥
Phil is a graduate of Alexandria Senior High, earned a bachelor’s degree from LSU and a master's in clinical Mental Health from NSU.

As part of a lifelong restaurant family, Phil and his wife of 18 years, Helena, own The Main Dish and More where he pretty much does whatever she tells him to do.
Together they have 3 children who are highly active in competitive soccer. Their philosophy for family life is, “wasting time together”.
As parishioners of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, Phil and his family are active in the church and school. Phil sits on the pastoral council and is the “unofficial” videographer for the parish.
Phil’s passion hobby is photography and when he’s not behind the camera you can find him presenting in front of an audience - something he absolutely LOVES to do!!

🌟Meet LeeAnn Borrel !🌟

Hey y’all! I’m LeeAnn Borrel, an ABA School Consultant, and I am excited to share a little bit about myself with you all!

👩‍🎓 My journey began with a degree in Communication Studies from LSUA and a fun stint in marketing. I then transitioned to the classroom, earning my certification in 1st-5th grade Elementary Education and my certification as a Lower Elementary Montessori Guide for ages 6-9. My diverse experience equips me to connect with teachers and staff, fostering a supportive environment for everyone involved.

My passion lies in empowering educators to reach their full potential and in helping children recognize their own unique brilliance. I strive to make a positive impact with those I interact with daily. My daughter’s school motto has guided me for many years on this journey in education; “Jesus, when others see me, may they recognize you.”.

I am happily married to my husband Luke and a proud mom to our wonderful daughter, Caroline. Our Australian Shepherd, Luna, is undoubtedly the family favorite! When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, indulging in arts & crafts, and making memories with my family and friends.

🌟Meet Del Vickery Payne 🌟

I’m Del Payne, and I’m all about diving into life with my kids—whether we’re jumping on the trampoline, getting lost in a complicated board game, baking up something sweet, or mastering the art of jump rope. My husband is my rockstar who can make, fix, or build anything, and I’m so grateful for him every day. ❤️

Ballet has been my lifelong love, and someday, I hope to teach an adult ballet class for those who just want to dance. 🩰

Working with special needs kids keeps me grounded and brings me endless joy. As for what I want to be when I grow up? The jury’s still out! Maybe an SLP, something in mental health, or even a classroom teacher again. But one thing’s for sure—it’ll involve special needs or the elderly. 👩🏻‍🏫

My time at LSEC taught me life lessons that can’t be captured in a questionnaire. And working for ABA School Consultants has pushed me to discover strengths I didn’t know I had. My advice? Take the job that scares you a little—you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of. 🤩

🌟Meet Brandy Wilmore Ponthie 🌟

We’re excited to introduce Brandy Ponthie! With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from LSU and a rewarding 18-year career as a classroom teacher, Brandy brings experience and passion to her role at ABA School Consultants.

Brandy and her wonderful husband, Randy, have been happily married for 26 years and are proud parents to their two sons. Her transition to working with special needs students and those with behavioral challenges has been incredibly fulfilling. Brandy loves supporting teachers and making a positive impact in the lives of these precious children.

When she’s not working, you can find Brandy enjoying quality time with her family and friends, diving into a great book, or exploring new travel destinations. ✈️📚

Adrienne Madison is a devoted wife and mother of three, whose life is a beautiful blend of family, passion, and compassion. Married to her college sweetheart, Adrienne cherishes the joy and fulfillment that comes from raising her children, who are the heart of her world.

📖An avid reader, Adrienne has a particular fondness for psychological thrillers, often losing herself in the twists and turns of a gripping novel. Her love for the genre is more than a hobby; it's a way for her to explore the complexities of the human mind and the depths of human emotion.

Beyond her family and her love for books, Adrienne has a deep-seated passion for supporting educators and individuals with special needs. With a career rooted in compassion and advocacy, Adrienne has spent years working to empower those she serves, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their fullest potential. Her work is not just a job but a calling. Adrienne's approach is always centered on dignity, respect, and the unique strengths of each individual.

🌟 Meet Kristy Lonsberry 🌟

Kristy has been married to her wonderful husband, Daniel, for 18 years, and they have two amazing kids, Hunter and Lakyn. Growing up in Pineville, Kristy graduated from Pineville High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s in Graphic Design with a minor in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. She later achieved her Master’s in Counseling Guidance and is now a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Kristy’s career journey has taken her from the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home to serving as a Behavior Strategist and Counselor at JI Barron Elementary with the Rapides Parish School Board.

When she’s not helping others, Kristy loves diving into art and design, spending quality time with her family, and traveling to new places. Her passion for helping children shines through in everything she does, and she starts each day with a prayer to be God’s hands and feet in the world. 🙏

🌟Meet Jennifer Thorpe 🌟

Jennifer has been a vital part of the ABA School Consultants team for 9 amazing years! She absolutely loves the privilege of working with the most incredible students, teachers, paraprofessionals and related service providers, daily.

Jennifer is married to her wonderful husband, George, and they have two beautiful children, Lily and Liam. Their family is completed by their sweet doodle, Winnie! 🐶

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys running, lifting weights, reading, and being outdoors. When Jennifer is not spending time with her family and chasing her own goals and dreams, she is spreading her love for volunteerism throughout the community and striving to be an advocate for inclusion in all walks of life.

🌟 Meet Amy🌟

Hello, everyone! 👋 I’m thrilled to introduce myself and share a bit about who I am both personally and professionally.

I’m happily married with two amazing children and three adorable grandkids who truly light up my life. While I can’t put into words how much I love my own kids, my grandbabies are definitely my favorite little humans. When I’m not working, you’ll often find me enjoying time with my family. Whether it's lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun at the beach, diving into a good book, or cheering on my favorite sports teams, I cherish these moments. I also have a passion for painting and can’t resist a good Netflix binge! 🎨📚🏖️

Professionally, I have a deep-seated passion for working with children with special needs, especially those with autism. I spent many fulfilling years teaching in the Autism Department in Rapides Parish before joining ABA School Consultants. My experience spans across various grade levels and academic settings, working with students who have a wide range of behavioral support and social-emotional needs.

Here are a few fun facts about me:

🏈 I’m a huge sports fan, with football being my ultimate favorite.
🐕 I share my home with a Rottweiler, two Lab/Retriever mix rescues, and a dachshund. Despite my daily vacuuming ritual, I wouldn’t trade them for the world!
🧼 I’m a bit of a germaphobe (which is amusing given my work with kids), but it doesn’t stop me from loving every moment of it.
👀 I’m fascinated by human behavior and can often be found people-watching and observing the quirks of everyday life.

Looking forward to connecting with you all and sharing more about our work together!

This dedicated group of educators is ready to rock the upcoming school year with their newfound skills and strategies. We are so impressed by their enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference. 🌟
