Here at Nordic Bully Academy we don't just focus on the dogs but we focus on family. I started breeding pitbulls back in the day before I met my husband, when they were so cool to have that everyone wanted or needed one. Tragedy struck and I had to get rid of my dogs, it was either keep the dogs or keep my family and I chose my family. Yeah it hurt like hell to lose every single one of those dogs because when I had no one else besides my kids I had them. My main dog, my female pitbull Nymeria she was my ride or die and when I met my husband I warned him she was a force to be reckoned with. He learned the hard way but in the end she loved him just like she loved me and the babies. After they were gone my heart was broken, I didn't want anymore dogs unless it was my dogs. We were finally moving to where we could get another dog, so I tossed around the idea, asked the hubby, he said that was fine. I was looking at what was called XL pitbulls, little did I know that they were actually called American Bullies. We had gotten a little black and white male pitbull and I joined groups about the bull breeds and discovered the American Bully. I had to have one, I begged and pleaded and the hubby said yes. I thought ok cool I can breed my male pitbull to this American Bully female and make some cool looking dogs. Yeah no it was more complicated than that lol I did more research, talked to breeders, waited and waited and waited for what seemed like forever. Bought a couple more bullies, rehomed them cause they weren't what I wanted for my program. Bought my big male Titan cause he was what I wanted for my program and what I wanted to create in the bully world. Mind you my husband supported me and my dream the whole way, didn't hesitate one bit. He tries so hard to work with these dogs but in the end I work with them while he works too support my dream and support our family. We have a steady foundation for the kind of American Bullies we want to create and maybe just maybe be big out in the bully world someday. For now we're ok being a small operating kennel. Now for more of the story, my family, and I'm not just talking about my husband and kids but my mom, my dads, my siblings have been there to support me as well. Close friends that have supported me. This post is for you guys, mom, I love you and I'm so grateful to have you. My darling sweet loving husband, thank you for standing by my side thru it all, the good, the bad, and the ugly. To my brother Jake thank you for always being there to help me with whatever I need, whether it's helping with the dogs, or the kids, or speeding off to come get me when I was in a car wreck. Thank you so much for all the help. To my sister Cass, I know we haven't always been close but if I had the choice of picking an older sister and a loving aunt to my kids, it would be you hands down along with Cheyenne, to my brother Matthew, God you've grown up so much since we were kids and you're still the kind hearted kid as you were when we were younger. Caleb, you're a pain in my ass some days but thank you for all the help you've given me. To my close friends I can't name all of you otherwise this post will never end lol thank you for helping in every way you could. This is the ramblings of a woman that took a four hour nap and is up late thinking lol good night everyone, stay safe and keep your family close!
