Celebrating the miracle of birth! Of the hundreds (if not thousands) of guppies that have been born in our tanks, this is the first one I've ever captured in a video.
Our latest batch of bristlenose pleco babies fresh from the cave!
The weather must be changing today! So far, both of my Shubel Blue mothers have dropped, one of my Shubel Green mothers had a HUGE drop, and at the moment, 2 of my full red albino mommas are dropping! Baby guppies EV-ER-Y-WHERE! OH! Our bristlenose pleco pair have a clutch of eggs in the cave too!
Albino corys spawning on the glass behind the filter tube.
Some interesting color patterns in some of our "snotgrass" boys.
A real nice drop of 1 week old full red albino babies moving to their next stage of development! This has been an extremely prolific line if guppies.
We strive to feed our guppies a variety of foods both live and prepared to allow their maximum growth potential. Thanks to a local hobbyist friend for the starter culture of microworms! We have 2 cultures up and growing now and the baby guppies LOVE them!
Moving some of our male teenage swordtail guppies to their final growout tank to get big and strong for next show season!
Restarting our HB AOC Leopard line with this prize winning female from last season and a few males born late last year.
Setting up our next generation of Full Red Albino breeders!
Our latest batch of pleco babies!
Some of our "snotgrass" males
Our summer guppy pond has been doing very well so far! We put some of our IFGA Leopards and Greens together this spring to see what that cross might produce. While we hate to see pond season end in the fall (usually mid to late October), we're anxious to see what these kids look like in a tank!
One of our Green mommas decided to start dropping this morning! We moved her to the birthing basket just in time. Her sister is in with her and due to start dropping any time now too.
Some of our 4 month old half black leopard males are shaping up nicely for the next IFGA show season!
This is our bird's favorite jam! She usually does a dance when the beat drops.
We are excited to have a few of our black bar endler trios available! These are almost 4 months old. The males dorsal and caudal fins will continue to grow longer, but these kids are ready to start breeding their own colony!
The baby plecos don't like sharing with the guppies.
Getting some of our older kids ready for their first show! See you in Murfreesboro in about 6 weeks!
