I’m going through everyone’s file as you come in to check if my records are updated with your dogs most recent vaccinations. I NEED an updated copy of their vaccination records BEFORE their next appointment! Please get that sent to me either through picture text or email at [email protected].

I’d say 90% of you are outdated!! Please get those sent over! Thank you😊

I had mentioned in December that I had some BIG news to share with all of you… Typically I post puppy ultrasounds and pregnancy news about my Small Munsterlanders but this time it’s our turn. Jake and I are having a baby in June!

I sent out a letter in the mail this week to everyone explaining what’s going to happen this summer. If you haven’t received it yet, you will soon. I also have some other grooming options to look into for the summer in that letter. I will be off for pretty much the whole summer. We can’t get into daycare until September so that means all summer long I’ll be off. Not ideal since both my husbands business, Nienaber Construction LLC and Muddy Paws are the busiest in the summer time but it is what it is☺️

I know all of you will want to book out until I’m off and I totally understand that!! But I also have quite a few unknowns between now and then. One being a possible litter of puppies with Kyler. This will be Kyler’s first litter of puppies. I will be taking time off during the week she delivers her puppies and random days while the pups are here. It’s not as easy for me to do that when everyone is booked already. I DON’T know when she will have puppies. Once she goes into heat I’ll have a better timeline and can plan better. Until then, it’s all unknown. If it’s too closely related to my due date then we will opt to wait to have a litter with her until next cycle. So much unknown with that!

I also know all of you will want to book in May but I simply cannot get everyone on the books in one month. I will be lightening my load towards the end of pregnancy. Meaning not as many appointments scheduled. I WILL try my best to get everyone in but know your last appointment with me might be in April. If you do get booked at the end of May/ beginning of June please note that if baby comes early, your appointment will be cancelled and you won’t get back in during the summer! Little game of gambling🤣

This also means absolutely NO new clients! I have no room to add any new dogs to my schedule.

I will not be booking any appointments yet for when I come back. Once I have a better idea of what my new schedule will look like I will post it and start booking appointments again at the END of summer. I will message you! Please wait for me to reach out first.

My plan is to take your dogs haircut as short as possible at your last appointment with me so hopefully they can last a little longer this summer! And I trust all of you will do a great job brushing and combing while I’m gone😏

I apologize for being gone all summer but I know you will all understand! We are super excited for our new addition to our family! This time it being a HUMAN😊

Miss Phoenix 🐶

I started her as a pup (she’s still very much a pup!) and put her in my Puppy Program. She’s a very shy little girl and we had to be very patient with her and let her get go at her own learning and comfort pace. Now that she’s been through the program and this is her second full grooming session since that, I can’t believe how far she’s come! She’s the sweetest girl who gives me lots of kisses and tail wags! I’m still going at her pace but without doing the puppy program I don’t think we’d be where we are at today without doing that! She’s learned to trust me and learn the process of being groomed and getting so comfortable with it!

The Munsterlander that made me obsessed with Small Munsterlanders is nine today! Her ✨GOLDEN✨ birthday! I can not believe nine years have come and gone so fast. So many amazing puppies came from her and so many amazing trips and memories!

If you have a puppy from Remi, give her some love by sharing a photo or two of her pup☺️ I know she’s going to be spoiled spending the day at “grandma & grandpas” 😉

I’d like to thank all of you again for a wonderful 2024 year! Lots of dogs got cleaned up this year and looking their best! I can’t wait to start my eighth year with all of you! Hard to believe I’ve been doing this for eight years. Time really flys by and some of you have been with me from the very beginning which is so awesome to have been on this journey with you for this long!

2025 will be a good one! Can’t wait to start the new year doing what I love to do for yet another year. Reminder that all prices are increasing by $5 starting January 2nd.

Can’t wait to see you all again! 🎊

Happy Friday!

As I wrap up my last full “grooming” day of the year today I’d like to thank ALL of you for a great 2024 year! It’s always great to have amazing clients like all of you and your dogs on my schedule. I can’t wait for another year with all of you! Some BIG news coming in 2025☺️ I will share that news in the new year! One other thing to note is that prices are increasing by $5 across for board for every service starting January 2nd, 2025. I appreciate your understanding and continued support in 2025 with this change.

Today will be the last day I will be working on dogs for the year! Next week I always dedicate my time doing LOTS of paperwork🙃 and deep cleaning the whole shop! Along with sending my equipment in for sharping and maintenance. It’s a good reset week to get me prepared for the new year!

I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Happy New Year and I will see all of you in 2025! 🎉
