Keep those fur babies safe during the holidays.
π Keep your pets safe this holiday season! πΎ
While you're decking the halls, make sure to be mindful of these toxic plants for your furry friends. πΏπΆπ±
π« Holly: Toxic leaves and berries can lead to vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy in pets.
π« Mistletoe: It might bring kisses in humans, but it brings trouble for pets with vomiting, diarrhea, and breathing problems.
π« Lilies: The entire plant from the petals, pollen, even the water the flowers are in are extremely toxic to cats and can cause kidney failure within a few days. If you have cats it is best to keep Lilies out of your house.
π« Amaryllis: Beautiful to us, but can cause harmful symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, and tremors in your pets.
π« Poinsettias: Commonly thought of as more dangerous than they actually are. While you might not have to rush to the ER, itβs still best to keep them out of reach as they can cause mild stomach issues for pets if consumed.
