We are devastated to announce the sudden, unexpected passing of our hospital cat, Rowdy. He had been an employee here at Fort Hunt since kitten-hood, working his way from intern all the way up to chief officer of morale. to His favorite tasks included clearing desks of "unnecessary" clutter, acting as a keyboard cover, and performing routine dumpster inspections. He was best known to staff for his strong opinions on both snack time and nap time as well as his fascination with the water fountains. He will be sorely missed. He is survived by Tanner and Nugget.

Hug your pets for us, as we mourn the loss of our Rowdy.

He will be with us until the end of the day, and then will be transferred if unclaimed to FairFax County Animal Control.
