Do you own one of the breeds listed that have a higher risk of bladder cancer? Consider having them screened. Here’s an opportunity for early detection.

Attention dog owners!

Dr. Knapp and her dedicated veterinary nursing team are hosting their final bladder cancer screenings of the year on August 30th and November 1st. If you have a Beagle, West Highland Terrier, Scottish Terrier, or Shetland Sheepdog over the age of 6, take advantage of this opportunity. Early detection could mean more treatment options and a longer, happier life for your furry friend. Ultrasound screenings can catch early signs of bladder cancer, giving your dog the best chance for a healthy future. Don't miss out – slots fill up fast!

Today is National Check the Chip Day. It is important to make sure your pet’s microchip information is up to date. Also did you know microchips can migrate over time. If you are unsure if your pet is microchipped we are more than happy to check!

Microchips greatly increase the chances that lost pets will be reunited with their families...but a microchip only works if its registration information is accurate.
