Let's learn about puppy visits! To keep your puppies happy, healthy bundles of joy, we keep them on a vaccination schedule until they are fully vaccinated.
At your puppy's first visit, they will receive an exam, their first round of vaccines, and a f***l parasite screening. Puppies receive their vaccinations around eight weeks of age and then will get boosters every three to four weeks afterwards until they are about sixteen weeks (four months) old. This is because when they are born, they have antibodies that were passed to them from mom. As they age, those antibodies fade.
Our puppies are highly susceptible to infectious diseases because their immune systems are not yet mature. The first dose of a vaccine prepares your pet's immune system to recognize the virus. The boosters help further stimulate the immune system to produce the important antibodies needed to protect your pet from the virus.
