Fun story! When my partner and I first lived together, I had a giant dog named Charlie. He was about 120lbs and at my 6’2” partner’s hip. There wasn’t a great spot for his bed, so we made the pantry “Charlie’s” room. …Not long after, I started the drumbeat for a second dog. The responses were: “We already have two dogs in one.” “Charlie doesn’t like other dogs.” (technically true) “This dog literally takes up a whole room and the couch.” …I’d always dreamed my giant dog would have a little guy to call his own. I’d walk my dog, and my dog would walk his dog, leash to collar. Needless to say, my excellent arguments for a second dog won out, on one particular caveat: the new dog had to be Charlie’s mini - exactly. …24 hours later I found the perfect puppy on and we met King Kong aka Archer, that weekend. …I also met an amazing person, .scheele who became a dear friend and guided me toward pet care. The rest is history!
