❤️🐾Cooper🐾❤️
Last Thursday December 12, we said goodbye to everyone’s favorite boxer boy, Cooper.
The first 2 photos are the day I met Cooper in October of 2020, followed by 2 photos from the day I said goodbye & Cooper crossed the rainbow bridge. The rest are some of my favorite pictures of Cooper & his pals from over the years. (facebook only let me pick 80 photos to upload, otherwise there would be hundreds)

When I met Cooper, he was just about a year old, recently adopted, and had previously only known a life of neglect until his amazing humans adopted him. He was your typical adult puppy - lacking manners, jumping, etc but he also came with some baggage including an immense fear of going through doorways…

…Until the first time he came to play with his friends here. After that, we weren’t afraid of thresholds anymore.

Cooper loved bubbles.
He loved Su-paw-visor Kalli.
He loved rubbing his butt against me & leaning on me. Cooper would be playing but somehow still always touching me.
He loved his other Flat-Face-Friday friends.

But most of all, he loved his life with his humans. He loved walks with his dad & couch cuddles with his mom.

Fun fact: Cooper & Su-paw-visor Kalli both celebrate their birthdays on 8/14.

I am so lucky to have gotten to meet Cooper & his humans, and to have watched them learn and grow as they trained together. I am so grateful I get to love all your dogs everyday and build amazing relationships with them and their human counterparts. It’s the best and worst part of what I do, because saying goodbye is never easy.

Cooper left us long before we were ready (f**k cancer!) but the love and positive impact his presence brought to so many other dogs and humans will remain with us.

Auntie misses you every day Coopie-poopies, but I know you’re up there with all those who crossed the rainbow bridge before you, getting all the cookies and couch cuddles. Until we see you again sweet boy ❤️🌈🐾

A huge thank you to all my clients I cancelled that day so I could go get my last
Coopie-cuddles, and an even bigger thank you to Cooper’s humans for sharing all of his love with me over the years.
