Our first litter of Shorkies is here. They are absolutely adorable. I can't wait to watch them grow.
Shorkies are known for being:
Social
They enjoy being around people of all ages and other animals. They are also known to be great with children and can make good playmates.
Small
Full-grown Shorkies are typically 7–10 inches tall and weigh 7–16 pounds. Their size makes them well suited for apartments and houses without large yards.
Easy to care for
Shorkies are calm and sweet dogs that are a good choice for inexperienced dog owners. They don't shed a lot because both parents have coats that shed minimally. If you leave your Shorkie's coat long, you'll need to brush it daily. You can also get their coat trimmed into a puppy cut every six weeks, which is lower maintenance. Shorkies only need a bath when they get dirty, but if you get their coat trimmed, your groomer can usually bathe them as well. You should also check their teeth, ears, and
