One of my buddy’s is going under general anesthesia to have a big procedure to remove both of his poor diseased eyes today. Please say some prayers for a fast recovery for Winston and for his mama and dad at home who will need some strength and comfort through this as well 🖤

🖤 IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION 🖤

I have some new policies being implemented and I hope you all can appreciate these growing pains, as I am trying to find what path in life I need to be taking for long term. Not only for my clients, my small business I’ve grown proud of, but also for my own family and mental health. It has not been without a long, hard thought process and a lot of going back and forth with this decision.

For the time being, I will no longer be accepting new clients. My schedule just simply does not allow for new clients on top of the existing clientele I already have. In lieu of trying to not burn myself out from being a people pleasing, workaholic, I am hoping this helps eliminate or cut back on that. Plus, I hate telling my repeat/returning clients no.

I previously raised my rates a few years ago (for new, not existing clients) and have been able to maintain but with the cost of everything else in the world going up and my time being more valuable and precious to me with a declining dog of my own at home, this is the only thing that makes sense to me. My new flat rate is $40/day. Even for existing clients. This takes place immediately. Now if you have already booked dates with me for the 2024 year, I will still honor those old rates in which were previously agreed one. But moving forward for future bookings, please just be aware the new flat rate is $40/day.

To be transparent and honest, I’ve toyed with the idea of closing down altogether but I don’t think I’m ready for that quite yet. I’m burnout on life currently and it’s a pretty crappy, stuck in the deepest rut feeling. I know so many of you can relate. I will circle back about this matter in the fall and hope that the new policies being implemented, may be enough to not burn me out completely. My clients pets have always been dear to my heart and are what will keep me pushing through this season. Send my love to your fur babies. Maybe even drop a pic of them too, I’d love to see their faces. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to private message my business page. I have still have two spots open for this Thursdays day care. First day care of the new year! $25/day and half off for an additional dog from the same household. Drop off is between 6:30-8:30am and pick up is anytime before 6pm.

Winston is a diabetic Westie that comes to board at my house. Some of his favorite things to do here are patrolling and exploring the big backyard, flattering my dog Linda by simply existing, rolling around on the carpet, and snuggling. ❤️

This blocky-headed girl means the world to me!

Blair was a foster of mine last fall and after she was adopted she started having medical and behavioral issues. Making her a bit of a pickle to board anywhere close to her home. Her mom knew she was always welcome back here anytime for boarding so she made the 6 hour round trip drive to board at my house for a week in October. I’m thankful she landed in such a committed home. They’ve really done their homework and put in the time to continue her training and it showed. ❤️

⭐️ NOW OFFERING DAY CARE FOR PUPS ⭐️

As some of y’all know, my yard was fenced in this summer and it has been so nice to enjoy. Nothing brings me greater joy than to watch my pups run around with others and just get to be DOGS. Sniffing butts, peeing on things, zooming, etc. I want to be able to offer it for others to enjoy as well.

I am currently going to only be offering this on Thursday’s only. All breeds, ages, and sizes welcome. However, pets will need to be fully vaccinated (rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella) and be spayed/neutered. Proof will need to be provided to confirm this to be eligible. This is to ensure the health of our dogs and yours too. Dogs must also be friendly with others, even if your dog would just prefer to coexist. Dogs are never left unattended and I am home all day. This will be a great way to give your pups a day of extra mental and physical enrichment so that you can pick up a tired and happy dog after a long day at work. Location is Alger.

**Drop offs would be as early as 6:30am the morning of and all dogs must be picked up by 6pm at the latest.**

One of my very first clients had a very extra special friend pass away today. Teddy will always have his own spot in my heart and I will never forget him in all my years. I haven’t watched him and his siblings in well over a year but I know if I had met him today, he’d still remember and love me and ask me for attention in his own socially awkward, Ted way. And that made me always feel humbled. Because Teddy didn’t love and trust easily or quickly, that love was earned. My heart goes out to the Rone family. Hug your other two fur kiddos tighter for me tonight 💔

Ace was the first boarder to get to enjoy the brand new fence at the house 😁

This is so exciting for me!!! Previously I have had to utilize a 30-60 foot tie out system and it has always been less than ideal for the last almost 5 years. No more tie outs, I now have a secure 5 foot fence for your babies to run and play in. I hope to slowly start putting more dog interactive things in it like pools and agility equipment for them to climb on or trial if they want to.

My favorite little Westie boy, that smile means the world to me 😍

A little back story on Winston because I feel like it is a good reminder for why I do what I do. Winston is a patient at the vets office I work at, that’s how I met him. He used to board there every time his mom and dad went somewhere. Winston has canine diabetes and requires injections every 12 hours. He gets extremely stressed when boarding at the clinic. He doesn’t eat great, he excessively pants, rubs his nose raw on the kennel doors, and rips up his cage. Always breaks my heart to see an animal in distress. One day, Winston’s mom called me up and asked if I could board Winston at my house. I had no hesitations to bust him out of the vets office. And he has always fit right in at my home and made himself at home too since day one. He never misses a meal, always is on tract with his insulin, never is stressed out and always just loves to snuggle on the couch at night and play with the cool kids during the day. He loves to be included. I’m thankful I can make dogs like Winston feel safe and secure. ❤️

🐾 MEET YOUR SITTER 🐾

I haven’t done one of these in a couple years and I know I have some people who are probably new here, so here it goes!

• I live in Alger, OH 📍
• I am 25 years old 🫡
• I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, and 7 hermit crabs (don’t worry they all stay home when I sit)
• I am a Registered Veterinary Technician 💉
• I have been pet sitting since 2017
• I have a special soft spot for rescue or special needs animals 💗
• I like to go camping, hiking, wine tasting, and dancing (no I am not any good at it). I’m also an avid concert/festival goer and like to travel when I can. 🌎
• I help run a rescue for double merle dogs (Pink Heart Rescue) 🧬
• I have experience with medical and behavioral cases (my dogs are both!) and I love to train! 🙈
• Animals have been my thing since I was born!

I usually have A LOT going on and am always busy in one way or another but when I am house sitting somewhere or boarding someone at my house, just know my clients pets always get my 110% undivided attention. I hope my clients know how much their babies and their trust means to me! They are all loved like my own, literally 💗

Got to enjoy a wonderful overnight stay with my favorite Ellie (I call her Ellie Bellie) and Munchkin (I call him Munchie). We did late night zoomies and early morning hikes. These two have a special spot in my heart ♥️ thank you Steve and Dina for letting me come stay with them!
