"Dancing Elk's One Moment In Time" (Mo) has arrived at Humming Desert Alpacas! He will be standing stud here for the summer!! This is Mateo's dad, and he is so handsome!! He is available for breedings!!

What a great time we had in Cheyenne!! A great way to finish Mateo's and Midas' show careers!! Our results:

Our first cria out of "Mo", Montana Mateo brought home five blues and a Reserve Color Championship as cria, and is still bringing home blues this year! Angie and Udo, at Mule Train Alpacas, have given "Mo" a discounted stud fee of $1200 for the summer! Bring two or more females, and it drops to $1000!! Hey there local alpaca lovers!! We are looking for two volunteers to help out on shearing day this year! It will be a super easy job! We need someone to hold alpacas while they wait for their turn to get a haircut, and also someone to help halter alpacas and take fleece bags from the shearing area to the vet room in the barn. Shearing day is Sunday, May 11 (yes, Mother's Day). Our shearer wants the first alpaca on the mat and ready to go at 7:00 a.m. sharp! We should be finished for the day around noon. Snacks, lunch, and drinks will be provided! If anyone is interested, send me a message on here, or shoot me a text at 505-263-5413. Thanks!!!

Had a great class today with students from PIMA Medical Institute's Registered Veterinary Technician program! They got to trim nails, do drug conversions and dosages , give injections, body score, and see teeth trims! 🐕🐈🐾💕
