🍀Taylor had an outstanding showing at the 4-H Show at the Iowa State Fair. He won all purple or lavender ribbons with his lowest placing rabbit receiving third place. 💜

He had the Reserve Champion meat pen, Champion fryer, and third place roaster.
He won the Californian senior doe, intermediate doe & junior doe classes & his junior doe won Best Opposite S*x.
His black New Zealand junior doe won its class.
His Champagne junior doe won its class & was Best of Breed.
He also brought a poster that received a purple ribbon 💜

Great day at the Iowa State Fair FFA rabbit show. Kayla’s roaster was the Champion Market Rabbit & Jordan’s champion Californian won Best 6 Class rabbit. Both kids will be in the Parade of Champions on this Saturday afternoon!

Mini Rex we won every class we showed in (black senior doe, black junior buck, black junior doe, white senior doe, otter senior buck, broken senior buck, broken senior doe, broken junior doe) Our black senior doe was Best of Variety. Our white senior doe was Best of Variety & Best of Group. Our otter senior buck was Best Opposite Variety & Best Opposite of Group. Our broken senior doe was Best Opposite Variety & Best Opposite of Group.

Fun day in Boone at the Iowa State Convention. Didn’t have a lot of down time to grab pictures but we won Best of Breed & Best Opposite Champagne, Best Opposite Californian, Best Opposite variety black New Zealand, Best of Variety & group with our Otter Mini Rex junior buck. In the Californian Specialty show we had many top 5 placings with our Californians showing open instead of youth. We won the senior buck & intermediate doe classes & our senior buck was Best Opposite of Breed. And lucky Taylor…put a raffle ticket in for a Guinea pig & won 😆

Fun day in Spencer at the district rabbit show. The kids won Best & Best Opposite Champagne, Best New Zealand, Best Opposite Californian, Champion Roaster & Champion Stewer plus we won two of the other 3 Californian classes we entered plus the Mini Rex junior doe class.
And if the flag in the photo backdrop display today was a salute to the fallen police officer Kevin Cram from our hometown of Algona…I salute them. It was noticed & appreciated 💙🖤🇺🇸

Great day for Taylor at his first Iowa State Fair 4-H rabbit show! He had Reserve Champion fryer, he won the Californian intermediate buck & junior buck classes & his intermediate buck won Best Opposite. He also showed two mini Rex, one champagne, a meat pen & roaster.

Great day at the Iowa State Fair FFA show. Lots of purples, blues, & a handful of reds. Jordan had reserve fryer which was also reserve champion market animal. Jordan also won Best of Breed Champagne d’Argent. Kayla had Best Opposite New Zealand & Best Opposite Mini Rex. Kayla won colored fur. The Algona FFA chapter won the Supreme Chapter award & a purple herding award. Individually Jordan received second & Kayla was fifth overall, and both kids received showmanship awards. As always, lots of laughs too.
