📢 Halloween Pet Safety Tips! 🎃👻

Halloween is full of fun and frights, but it can also pose risks for our furry friends. Follow these tips to keep your pet safe this spooky season! 🐾🧡

🧁 Avoid Treats Meant for Humans: Candy, especially chocolate and anything containing xylitol, can be toxic to pets. Keep all sweets out of paw’s reach!

👻 Watch Out for Costumes: Dress your pet in costumes that are comfortable, breathable, and safe. Avoid anything too tight or with small parts they could chew off.

🎉 Keep Pets Indoors: With trick-or-treaters coming and going, pets may feel anxious or try to escape. Create a cozy, quiet space away from the door to help them feel safe.

🕯️ Decorate Safely: Keep candles, cords, and small decorations out of reach. Curious pets can easily knock things over or get tangled up!

🎃 Let’s make sure everyone has a howling good time this Halloween without any scares! Have questions or concerns? Give us a call at Alhambra Veterinary Hospital – we’re here to help!

🍁🍂FALL SAFETY🍂🍁
As we head into fall, remember that fleas and ticks
are still lurking, especially in moist, shady areas such as
under leaves. Preventatives should be given year-round. Antifreeze is another autumn hazard that can be deadly even in small amounts. Be sure to wipe up spills and keep all containers out of reach.

As some of you may already know, our own Dr. Gil (or Dad, as he’s soon to be known) is about to embark on a new and exciting journey as a father! He and his partner are thrilled to be welcoming their first child very soon. This is a momentous occasion, and we’re simply over the moon for them. Let’s all join in and send our warmest wishes to Dr. Gil and his growing family!

Dr. Gil’s last day at the hospital before he heads off for paternity leave is Friday, May 3rd. His return date is undetermined yet, and we’ll keep you informed with the latest updates as we get them. But don’t worry—we have plenty of help and support in place to ensure that you and your pets can expect the same exceptional care and service as always.
