🏠🐾It's Take Me Home Tuesday!🏠🐾 “Hey! Fred here! I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to get attention. I am a two-year old, neutered, Pit Bull Terrier mix. I weigh 55 pounds and I’ve been at the shelter since October. I am a young fella, full of energy, full of love, with no one to share it with. My life so far included being passed around from home to home, with no one wanting to properly care for me. I was kept in a crate, had no one to play with, and felt very lonely. I was finally recently adopted (yay!) but my owner began having health issues and had to return me (not so yay). I love it here at the shelter! All my friends are here! I love meeting new people! I’m having so much fun learning new things, like how so sit and walk nicely on the leash. I do need to be the only animal in my home, but I would love a home with lots of people to play with. I will probably be best with older kids or teens and up. I am smart, I am housebroken, and I am full of love.” Here’s what a staff member has to say about Fred: “I love Fred! 🏠🐾It's Take Me Home Tuesday!🏠🐾 “Hello, my name is Dottie! I’m a five-year-old Bulldog mix. At 65 pounds, I’m a bigger lady. I’ve been to the shelter a few times now, and I’m ready for this time to be my last! If you think you may be my forever family, come in and meet me today! I'm sure you can guess how I got my name...all my adorable spots! My personality is spot on! I am very smart and love to learn new things. The staff have taught me lots of things like basic obedience, how to walk nicely on leash, and even how to wear a muzzle for vet visits. I'm still learning and would love a family who wants to learn with me! I recently started going to dog playgroup here, so I may be able to live with a dog in my future home, but I would need to meet them to make sure we get along, however I am used to being queen of the castle in my previous home. I am a big, goofy, go-lucky girl. I would do best in a home of older kids, I am housebroken and crate trained, but I also do well when left alone in a home. I love playing in water and enjoy all kinds of toys. I am a big cuddle bug and I adore snuggling. I can be unsure of new people, so it may take me a few times to feel comfy, cozy around you, but once I do....you better make room for this big butt to sit on you! That’s over 100 days of waiting to meet my forever family! I set the seven seas in search for adventure and treasure. What jewels call to this sailor's soul? Diamonds? Rubies? Pearls? My treasure is a family to call my own. Looking to the horizon, I dream of a family to snuggle, cuddle, and kiss all day long. I love hugs and sitting on your lap. I enjoy watching TV (Bluey is my favorite actually) and eating doggie ice cream. This girl needs a very patient and understanding person, and today she officially found them! Phyllis is very loved by our staff and volunteers.
