It's been awhile since I've posted anything. We've gone through some major changes in both family and farm, but we are getting back on track with some new scents in our soaps and lotions, new goats to get milk for our Soaps and new bloodlines for our herding Aussies.

Moody’s Main Street Oil & L**e replaced the starter in my little Honda CR-V. They did a great job and did it quickly! Plus the price was less than I expected!

One of my favorite coffee cups has started leaking. I can't find a crack, but every time I use it, it leaves a puddle. I couldn't bring myself to toss it because it was a gift from my oldest son several years ago; so I found a new purpose for it.
I put a baby aloe vera plant in it today!🌱

How do you get hay without a baler? With a pitchfork of course! After4 loads like this, our loft is almost full and we will be ready for the winter with the next cutting!

We have decided to change from Nigerian Dwarfs to Mini Nubians. In looking for them, there are bucklings galore, but the true mini doelings are few and far between. So we decided to make our own. Welcome Chili (originally Ruby) to our farm! She is a registered standard Nubian and I'm sure she will be the herd queen while we build our herd of Mini Nubians.

We welcomed a little bull calf today. I was hoping for a little heifer to retain and breed but I'll gladly settle for steaks and burgers.

Update: Piper will be going to her new loving home in a few weeks. Thanks for sharing! Piper is looking for a greener field, .....or couch. 🙂 She is a 3 year old blue merle with double blue eyes. She is energetic, but not hyper. She does not have any desire to herd. She does well with our horse and chickens ( though she does need to be reminded to leave our free range chickens alone when they get into her food bowl). She has a clear genetic panel through Paw Print Genetics and she's a great mom. She is dual registered with ASCA and AKC. www.harmonypatch.com

Look whose coming to Harmony Patch....this little blue merle boy is going to learn how to herd goats and much more. We can't wait to get him from Tim Shelton on Saturday!

As i was saying she has wadded the pad for her whelping box up and pushed it into a corner and has made a nest in the shavings instead. I don't like babies to be born in shavings because momma ends up eating a bunch. I plan to be here with her though, so I'll get her moved
