We have a new baby! Another boy :)
Monty is available for adoption! This sweet boy showed up at Woodhaven last week scared and skinny. He’s put on a little weight and has really come out of his shell! He’s great with kids, dogs, and horses, but can be a little timid around strange men. Talk to Jean if you’re interested in giving him a home!

Baby #3 born this morning, and it’s a girl! Echo and baby are doing great! Just look at those long legs!
Perfect example of why you should build things “horse tough”. We were cleaning out the hay trough today and had the door at the end open with our backs to it. Suddenly we heard “CLANG, CLANG, CLANG” and turned around to find Lucky White had decided to join us. We got her turned around and she walked back to the end and jumped off, then ran around the pasture bucking and leaping, as if to say “did you see what I did?!?!”
On cold mornings we like to throw a few bales of alfalfa out in the big pasture. The extra calories help their bodies generate heat. They know that when Jean starts hollering, good things are ahead 😁

The babies (and Auntie Velvet) have moved out to Farmersville and the big kids (Zeus, Charlotte, and Mojo) have come home to Woodhaven.

Clover is just the cutest thing when she runs around, but she spends most of her time glued to her mama's side :)
Spice was pretty chill the other day when we shot this video. We interrupted the babies' afternoon nap, so they didn't give us any fun running around. Still cute, though :)
The Mamas are still working out some kinks, but life at Miss Sarah's is pretty peaceful for the most part :)
