We will be leaving later today to start our drive to drop off Padmè to her new adventure. With that being said, Jyn is still looking for a placement. She is a lovely bitch with a goofy personality. She has the energy and drive to do hunting or any high active sport. She does need training but she would be great for anyone wanting to tackle on the sport world. She will be spayed before she leaves.

Dala is also looking for a co-owner locally if anyone is interested.

Kylo is off to his new adventure! I'm so happy for him! Padmè gets spayed on Tuesday the is off on her new adventure on Sunday.

This just leaves Jyn to be spayed and to find her next adventure in an active hunt home.

In light of both Padmè and Kylo leaving this month, Jyn will be available after her spay. I do plan to get her obedience trained and potentially hunt trained if someone is interested.

Once Dala finishes in UKC she will be cut down and start her sport career, if anyone local to me would like to co-own and tag team sports with her let me know! Hunt tests, fast cat and rally are what I have in mind so far.

At this time we have no plans for puppies. With me going back to college starting next month our focus will be on that. The earliest there could be puppies is late 2025/ Early 2026.

We are in no rush. We also want to announce that this could possibly be the last time here at DarkSide Poodles has a litter of Poodle Puppies.

***UPDATE***
Once jyn is spayed we will begin looking for a placement for her. We are looking into retriever training her before she goes or just basic obedience if that is something you are wanting. If she seems like a pup you might want please PM me.

It is with much difficulty we have decided to spay Jyn and no longer use her in our program. As much as I love the little Crackhead she hasn't matured the way I hoped. She is a lovely pet and sport prospect that's for sure, but the show life and mom life just won't be for her.

As for if I will be placing her I am undecided at this time. It has been a joy to work with Mount Zion Standard Poodles and Misfire Kennel when it comes to Jyn. Thank you both for this amazing opportunity to have her.

Jyn got to go teach my favorite dog from work how to be a bird dog. Jyn had such a natural retrieve and deliver to hand it makes me so happy. Her bestie Cooper (the springer) was tired in an hour while jyn wanted to keep playing.
If you want a dog that will last you a long tim3 in the field then jyns got that drive and energy. She's got a great future ahead of her. She's definitely becoming my favorite.... just don't tell Padmè lol

Jyn came to work today for a much needed end of the show year cut down. We love this crazy sassy clown. Thanks Mount Zion Standard Poodles and Misfire Kennel for letting us take on this crackhead 🤣

Jyn got gunfire tested today. She gave 0 f***s 😆🤣. For all this being natural, untrained behaviors I think its safe to say we got ourselves a bird dog!

While he hasn't reached the age of 2 or had any health testing, with the increase of interest in Ken I do want to let everyone know if he passes everything and gets his titles, he will NOT be available to the public. Due to the amount of cousins and half siblings out there we feel it's best to keep him in house.

Jyn came out to play at the classic, while she got no love she did manage a reserve Female. Miss chomp chomp had a lot of fun though and that's all that matters!

Anakin "Ken"

He made his UKC debut this weekend at the UKC Southern Classic and walked away with 2 competition wins and majority of his points! Winning Best Male twice out of an amazing line up and Best of Winners! We just need one more good show weekend and he will finish his UKC Championship title with limited showing.

It's so amazing watching the show stuff finally click in his brain and him going out there having the time of his life.

As we prepare for Kylo going to his retirement home soon, it's time we start preparing for Padmès. Padmè will be spayed after Kylo leaves, she had started retriever training, ecollar continued, loves Retrieving, has naturally alerted to elevated heart rates before, has been used in grooming competitions! She is a girl with many talents, and has many references as for her temperament and behaviors.

Pupdate on Ken! We have done 3 days of puppy matches and each day he is becoming more and more confident in the ring. Next week we have akc bpup, all the practice for our boy. Dala is sitting out for a while due to she is recovering from having a broken toe.
