Friday was National Pet Groomer Appreciation Day and we are SO thankful to have one of the best!! Not only is Alyssa talented with grooming dogs of all breeds and sizes, but she is kind and patient with even the most anxious of dogs. Our patients love her and so do we!!! Be sure to give Alyssa some love when you see her this week, we are beyond lucky to have her! 💕

On behalf of the Mensik family and our team here at Country Creek we wanted to share the news of our sweet clinic dog, Aggie.
Aggie is a very known face around here and loves coming to work with her mom, Dr. Lollie. A few weeks ago Dr. Lollie found a bone tumor (osteosarcoma) in Aggies front leg. Although a CT scan showed it has not spread, these tumors are very aggressive and painful therefore Aggie had her front leg amputated last Friday. She is in full recovery mode and doing amazing. Thank you all so much for the kind words, messages, and visits to Aggie. 🐾❤️

This week we are celebrating our veterinary technicians! We could not do what we do without them. They are the ones loving on your babies during their appointments, cuddling them as they recover from surgery, and making their vaccines, blood draws, and appointments go as smooth and stress free as possible. We are honored to have such a wonderful group of technicians who are passionate about what they do. Please give our technicians extra love this week (and every week) as we celebrate them! 🫶🏼

Today is Check the Chip Day to remind pet owners to not only have their pets microchipped but to make sure the registration information is up to date.

Microchips drastically increase the chances that lost or stolen pets will be reunited with their families, but a microchip can only be helpful if its registration information is accurate. Call us with questions about microchipping or registering your pet so that we can help all lost pets find their way home 💕
