I hauled her to rodeos this last summer to see the sights. Nothing phases her, she's very level headed and looks to please. We have started roping the sled on her. Will stand at the trailer all day, gets along well with other horses. She will not get fresh after time off. Will W,T,C picks up both leads, breaks at the poll, side pass & will counter arc. To all of my past, current, and future clients, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all of the trust you’ve put into me over the years. You have made a childhood dream of mine, come true. With life, comes change, and I am ready to step into my next chapter of life with my family, and for me that means devoting more of my energy and time into my family and our own horses. I will no longer be taking client horses in. I am currently booked until October, if you are on the books with me and have paid a deposit, I will honor my training and I will still take your horse at the designated date. After all booked trainers are gone, I will no longer be training for the public, unless you have been a long time client, or you want more work on a horse I have previously trained.

This has not been an easy decision for me. I have not taken this lightly. Training is a very demanding, taxing, physical job that can really take a toll on you (especially after having 2 kids), it can be a very undervalued profession, but it can also be so amazing and so rewarding. I have devoted 10 years of my life to making other peoples dreams come true with their own horses, and it is time for me to spend more time on myself, my family, my own personal horses and my own personal goals.

Thank you to everyone for trusting in me, thank you to everyone that has become a close friend through this profession and thank you to those of you that have made this business worthwhile. It has been so amazing to see so many people go on and do great things with some horses I have had a hand in helping. “Static” is a 16.2H 5 year old gelding that’s ready to be your next big time horse! I have hauled and expoed him 3 times and each trip, he gets better. He’s ready to continue hauling and soon start entering. I haven’t asked for speed, he just naturally floats across a pen without being pushed. I truly believe he is going to be a 1D/2D horse. He’s extremely smooth moving. Fancy broke, soft in the face and does prefer a SOFT HANDED RIDER, collects up, side pass, counter arc, will have a short collected trot, then will extend out and have a nice long trot. He is a very smooth mover. He’s GENTLE, SOUND, and SANE. Very “in your pocket” type personality. He is a gentle giant. He love’s attention. Great to haul, eats and drinks good. What a reminder it is that the 2023 New Year falls on a Sunday. God says Sunday is the day of rest. I think we all should take the day to reflect on 2022 and be great full for all God has gotten us through and done for us, but take REST today in what 2023 has to offer, knowing that God is already there. Sometimes I think we all get so wrapped up in “new year, new me” or “new year’s resolutions” that we actually forget what we’re really here on earth to do, and that’s to be like Christ and spread his word. We are not here on earth to “win a championship” or “build the biggest house” or “go to all these rodeos” those are all things we just GET to do, by the grace of God!

My only “goal” in 2023 is to put my blinders on, and focus directly on God and what HE WANTS for my life. Not what “I think I want for my life”. We all have set goals in past years and fell short, which resulted in disappointment (at least for me) and it was because I was setting the wrong goals! Our only goal at the end of the day should be to serve God in everything we do. I encourage you to go into 2023 with the mindset “what would Jesus do?” in everything you say, how you raise your family, how you act when no one is looking, and make sure that what’s in your heart, is truly good and would honor God.

Know that all of the earthy “goals” you may meet, are amazing blessings from God. BUT they are NOT the purpose of life, or where you should find your happiness and contentment. Those things are only found in God and building a relationship with him! God is in control and I am so ready to serve him with all of my heart, grow with him and let him guide my family in 2023! I will have rest in his plans, knowing they are good and they will fall according to my purpose. ✝️🙏🏻

“Raven” is a DASH FOR CASH mare that’s been there, done that! She cruises the pattern at whatever speed you ask. She was ran at IPRA/MSRA rodeos 5 years ago and occasionally placed. But now with kids she’s 3D locally. We sold her to a beginner youth this past summer. She is good broke with all of the buttons. Loads, clips, bathes, stands for the farrier. Amazing to overnight trail ride!! They loved her and the child got along amazing!! They ran her everywhere but then she pulled back one day and scared them so now they just want their money back. She does occasionally pull back!! So she can’t be tied. THIS IS HER ONLY VICE! This mare is extremely quiet and gentle to ride. She only happens to pull back when something startles her by her face. AD SAYS EXPERIENCED BECAUSE SHE DOES HAVE SOME GET UP AND GO. A 6 year old has been riding her for the last 2 weeks and they’ve come to the conclusion that she’s too much and they need something slower. She’s also pigeon toed but she’s sound and super safe. DOC BAR BRED. “Mat” has been a huge blessing to have on my trailer this summer, he has literally pulled a check everywhere I’ve ran him, or he’s been just one hole out of the money. I have never hit a barrel on him. He is the true definition of CONSISTENT AND HONEST. I have used him for the smaller pens and he really loves them. At barrel races and larger pens, he has clocked about 1/2 second off the winning time in the open. He’s an excellent EXPERIENCED YOUTH horse. I say experienced because he does know his job and HE WANTS TO GOOO WHEN HE GETS TO THE ARENA. He is best when you just ride him up the the arena with another horse next to him one person before your run. He’s not dangerous by any means, but he can be a lot at the gate. I keep him away from the arena until he runs. His only “vice” is he does crib when he’s in a stall, so we leave a collar on him when he’s stalled.

He is so broke he will literally run in anything. I have ran him in an s hack and a short shank dog bone. He’s got a really turny, smooth style. Stands stout 14.3H and is thick made. He’s EASY AND AUTOMATIC. Literally just sit there and let him work. Only maintenance he gets is Adequan 2X a year and I have injected his knees once. He’s 21 but doesn’t look, or act it! He’s got a ton of get up and go and alot of years left. VET CHECKS WELCOME.

The ONLY reason he’s for sale is because the rodeo season is coming to an end and I have a handful of colts I will be hauling all winter, so he won’t be used and I would hate for him to sit. He’s a super sweet boy and I would love to see him with a handy youth!! Located in Allen Mi.

No buck, bite, kick or rear she acts like a gelding and gets along well with other horses. She’s easy to catch, and a sweetheart to be around. She has been around cattle and has had a rope swung off of her and she doesn’t mind. She is a fast mover and has a long stride for how short she is. She moves out, so I wouldnt recommend her for a kid or someone wanting to go slow. She’s about 14.1 and as stout as they come. Straight legged and no soundness issues. She’s fat and out of shape but will walk, trot, and canter. Has a good stop and backs up and neck reins. Nothing fancy broke. She’s a project/prospect or would make a great broodmare!! Registered Blue Roan Appaloosa mare. MR MELODY JACK X DOUBLE L STRAW bred. “Abby” has been used as a 4H horse for several years. Has been hauled to High School rodeos. Has ran barrels, poles, down and back. She’s had one owner her whole life. Kids outgrew her so she’s looking for her next rider! Abby is really broke, lopes soft, pretty circles and has a big stop. Side passes and neck reins. Has been used as a trail horse as well. Abby is Perfect if you have an experienced youth kid that is looking to step up. She is very gentle, no buck, bite, kick or rare but she does have some go to her, therefore she is not for a super beginner. The only place I can fault her is she needs a little help on the backside of a turn, she’s too bendy and needs someone that can use their outside leg to help her stay under herself and drive her out of a turn and not just pull her. Just a couple weeks of tuning and I think she will make someone a very nice barrel horse. Abby is 16 this year, stands a stout 14.3 she’s 100% sound and sane, requires zero maintenance and runs barefoot.
