My boys and I started Beards & Tales a goodly number of years ago. Our first goats came from Kannah Creek in Colorado. And then we added a few girls from Tiny Tales Farm, near Kansas City. The Walkers were great mentors and friends, they taught us a great deal things
in regards to care of the goat. While I had researched for 3 years before even looking at goats I still felt out of the water. But we had great mentors to teach us along the way. We strive to produce the best and closest to the breed standard as possible. We continually work to keep udder health and attachments top of the line as they are dairy goats so they need to milk. This year 2019 we are an ADGA Plus herd, which we are really excited about. We have had a lot of fun raising these very special animals. And we enjoy going to shows to show the girls off and see what others think of them .Its also a great place to catch up on news of other herds and how they are doing. We are decreasing the size of the herd each year as I am not physically able to do as much as when we started and I was still working and in pretty good health. But we continue to improve.
