Puppy field trip #2 … The Land of Hart. 7 puppies in 2 large crates traveled 1 hour there and 1 hour back with minimal whining. They all acclimated well to the portable puppy pen, ate well, napped for 2 hours and played with little humans🥰

Puppies had quite the busy Sunday with lots of “new” things:
2 sets of family visits
New play area
crate exposure
Puppy kibble/food
wearing t-shirts
Rollie pollie toys
Clicker training: take a treat(raw venison)

They handled it all in stride

The puppies had their first big field trip which included a car ride, new people and surrounding and LOTS of handling. Huge shout out to Aaron and Steph for all your help. 3 of the girls also got to meet their namesakes😁

Congrats Lenny now known as The Riddler : Edward Nygma. He will be living in Wisconsin with Aaron and Steph along with his new pack Rodney, Bella, and Gordy(the commissioner). The long term plan is that once he comes of age, he will be OFA health tested in hopes of passing and being bred to a female from a future Anya litter.

I had a helper today for puppy’s individual car rides. Lenny and Felicia made a quick trip to our local vet where Felicia was happy to snuggle help answer phones.

Happy 4 weeks puppers!!!! New things everyday… sight, sound, texture. Individual car rides are going great. Fiona is only feeding them twice a day with them eating their venison slurry 4 times a day. It’s also time for a pen revamp. Keep your eye out for a Santa visit😏

The wait is over… now for the exciting news. ToKi (with a little help) has found her furever family. Congrats Leeuw family!!! Her new name is Maya🩷
You all know how much I love doing this. I’m expanding my program of breeding for health and demeanor. The Leeuw family has agreed to be a guardian home. I’m not going into great detail just know that every breeder does this differently. When Maya reaches a certain age and if she passes all of her OFA testing, she will hopefully have puppies.

Puppies had great interactions and snuggles during “puppy therapy” today. Fiona has breastfed only twice today with puppies eating 4 times from their own bowls. We also started independent car rides … ToKi did great.

Puppies are 3 weeks old. They are all gaining nicely as you can see. They love their goats milk and venison slurry. They’ve been initiating play with each other and their toys.
