It has been an honor & a pleasure to work with Solly Stables & the crew over at Kbrothers.horsemanship creating & instructing their lesson program. Having recently begun managing a barn at my home base in NJ, I had to make the tough decision to hand over the program so it can continue to flourish. Ms. Tara will be the leading instructor for Solly Stable’s program, & can be contacted directly for all future lessons! I wish all my “littles” the best of luck & success in their equine journeys. A little update clip on EARLY GO HANOVER, “Mercy,” who is still patiently waiting to find her forever person! She is definitely more whoa than go, however picks up the pace when asked. She is also lovely to hack out alone or in a group, & stands nicely to be groomed & tacked. After proving to be quite the fussy eater, we’ve got her dinner down to a science & she is finally packing on weight nicely. She is still a green bean, but with a confident rider you’ll have a nice mare to finish off however you’d like🐴

UPDATE 7/11-:
We had the lovey vets over at Colts Neck Equine come out to formally assess & treat the princess herself to get to the bottom of exactly what was going on, & thankfully we got all GOOD news! After many X-Rays, the vet determined both hocks are in good condition & believes after the initial steroidal injection for post-illness scarring in the hock, this pretty girl is ready to start being trained under saddle. The injections worked WONDERS!!! & thankfully she has been cleared to be adopted out as a LIGHT RIDING/ TRAIL ONLY horse (no speed events, no jumping). It was also recommended she get hock injections as needed, so with full disclosure she is being advertised as low maintenance, given injections may only be needed every 6-12 months depending on workload.
That being said, I have had many trainers reach out to donate their horses to my program & for the near future I can NOT take more horses in. Beach’s vet bill reached $890, & running this program out of pocket (and with 5 other horses in my care) I cannot take on more horses until the bill is settled. I have attached the link to my Venmo if anyone would like to graciously donate to her bill & my program so I can continue helping out these guys post racing & help them find their way to their new forever home☺️ Every little bit helps, I appreciate all of y’all 💙

REMINDER: Facebook has lesson times in -3hrs CST, this is something I cannot change. Whatever time you booked for is your assigned time and reflects correctly on my end. Also, with many cancellations happening we are imposing a new cancellation policy effective June 2023. If you cancel within 24hrs of your scheduled time, you will be invoiced the full amount. Dues must be paid in order to book another lesson. Thank you!

With one Saturday left this June & a few openings left, be sure to reserve your lesson time today! REMINDERS: lessons are ONLY held at Solly Stables in PA. I live in NJ & the bulk of my business is done in NJ. When booking your time it may come up with a reminder 3 hours earlier than your scheduled time- it is an error through FB that I cannot fix but your scheduled time is your appropriate scheduled time. And finally, if for any reason you need to cancel, if you do so within 24hrs of your scheduled time you will be invoiced the amount for your lessons.

Little miss DEVIOUS DELIGHT has been coming along nicely! She really seems to enjoy her hacks around the farm. The screaming stud horse didn’t phase her, the ladder was a different story- BUT, she realized it wasn’t so bad after all. On the flat, she’s been great at softening at the trot & slowing down a bit. She works very well off of leg pressure & her tight turns *scream* barrel prospect, but I’m keeping her slow on the flat.. for now😇 she’s come a long way, & with the progress she’s made in a short time, her future looks bright with her & her future forever person💙🐴

Who says desensitizing training can’t be fun? FAT BOY is easily the snortiest gelding I’ve ever met.. being alive could possibly be just as terrifying to him🤣 what was supposed to be a lunge session turned into tackling.. the big, scary Christmas tablecloth🙈 we may have been laughing the whole time, but by the end he figured it out. He’s getting more brave & confident every session🐴

This beautiful weather has some of our residents feeling extra ✨spicy✨ lately.. love us a sassy mare- our geldings on the other hand may disagree🤣
