Dr. Fischer DVM, DACVAA, CCRP, CVA is a board-certified specialist in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia® who started with Eastern PA Veterinary Medical Center in 2023. In 2008, she completed a residency in veterinary anesthesia and pain management at Cornell University and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia. Dr. Fischer has a special interest in helping to ease the pain and discomfort of veterinary patients and has since completed certifications in canine rehabilitation (2010) and veterinary acupuncture (2017), as well as taken additional courses in musculoskeletal ultrasound and myofascial trigger point therapy.

Providing effective pain management is an integral component of veterinary medicine, both in aiding pets in their recovery from surgeries and acute injuries as well as managing chronic ailments, such as osteoarthritis and cancer. This approach often encompasses the use of advanced diagnostics and treatments, including medications, physical therapies, and other methods aimed at diagnosing and reducing pain. In light of this, beginning in January 2025, Dr. Fischer will be welcoming new patients for outpatient pain management services at EPVMC.

Treatments- Regenerative medicine (stem cell/PRP); Synovetin (coming soon); Joint injections; epidurals; advanced injection procedures, acupuncture, myofascial trigger point therapy, and more.

Let's welcome one of our newest members, Dr. Lindsey Graham DVM, DACVIM 'Neurology'

Dr. Graham is a Lehigh native who grew up in Macungie, Pennsylvania. She completed her internship in medicine and surgery at the University of Tennessee, did another internship and completed her residency in neurology & neurosurgery at the University of Illinois.

Dr. Graham will be working alongside Dr. Tracy expanding our Neurology department to five days a week at Eastern PA Veterinary Medical Center. Dr. Graham will start accepting appointments in early February of 2025.

We know there is lots of house holds filled with Turkey-Testers, keep them out of the kitchen today to avoid those upset bellies.
