I must admit, swapping out backgrounds with AI feels a bit “wrong” I feel like I am faking the photo BUT the reality is I use a backdrop in the salon anyways, that’s no more real. These new photos are superior quality and i’m pretty sure all my clients love them as much as I do so I shall continue. This Saturday 12/2 at Lucky Dog Training we are Decking the Paws with Vendors, Raffle Baskets, Photos with Santa, Agility and so much more!! I’ll be there doing nail trims 3pm - 5pm. All proceeds are being donated to Pawsitive Hope! My favorite dog trainer’s rescue of choice. Shandra, Owner of Lucky Dog is organizing this whole wonderful event 🐾 Come out to support a good cause 🎅🏼

Starting Jan 1, 2024 all groom prices will be changed to an “all inclusive, hourly structure” based on your pets specific needs and the duration of the appointment 🐾🛁 All dogs are not created equally and it’s only fair my pricing reflects that. A text has been sent to all of my clients being affected ~ If you’re a regular & did not receive a text, no need to expect a change. If you didn’t get “the text” earlier this month but are wondering if your price will be different, just shoot me a text! I didn’t get the chance to take a finish photo of this big guy, Thor, but I think he appreciates my work. Appointment 2 of 2 and a total of 6 hours of elbow grease put into removing his impacted undercoat, that’s even with shaving off “the worst” of it and saving what I thought was within reason. He’s a senior, has to lay in the tub & lay on my table but he still gets around pretty darn good even when I have to help him. His parents thought they were doing right by Thor “He’s always gone to the groomer” they told me. It seems to me the previous groomer was bathing the fur but not removing the loose shedding hair underneath which lead to a complete mess of matting and impaction. Within two appointments, his skin is already looking better underneath. Thor isn’t the only pup to come to me in the exact same situation. Thankfully, Thor and the other dogs are set up on a schedule with me now and I’m pretty darn sure they all thank me on their way out the door. 🫡

If your dog is leaving a trail of hair everywhere they go, you can’t find their skin or just doesn’t “feel” clean, I am accepting new clients and would LOVE to freshen up your pup 🫧🛁🐾 Text or book online 🐶

I read somewhere that Thanksgiving is the #1 holiday for emergency vet visits! Keep them safe and healthy this Thanksgiving with these food tips.

Pets commonly come into the clinic with PANCREATITIS following the days after holidays. Please help us keep your pets safe in the coming weeks. Have knowledge of what is safe and what is not. When welcoming other people into your house they might not know set boundaries or what’s safe. Keeping your pets in a safe area away from guests can help. Hoping everyone safe travels and a Happy Thanksgiving!

Great reminder!

Sniff sniff sniff… Ravioli’s nose just alerted him to some delicious scents coming from the kitchen in preparation for Thanksgiving!

Here are some delicious dog-safe foods that will be on Ravioli’s plate this year:
✅ Carrots (plain)
✅ Green beans (plain)
✅ Cranberries (plain)
✅ Sweet potatoes (plain)
✅ Turkey (skinless white meat, without bones)
✅ Corn (plain, no cob)
✅ Pumpkin (plain puree, no sugar)
✅ Apple slices

Ravioli will definitely steer clear of non dog-friendly foods, such as:
❌ Turkey bones, skin and drippings
❌ Onions, garlic and spices
❌ Corn on the cob
❌ Mashed potatoes
❌ Raw bread dough
❌ Stuffing
❌ Nuts
❌ Grapes and raisins
❌ Chocolate
❌ Alcohol

If you have human friends or family visiting, you can either make a “no people food” rules or share this guidance with them in advance. You might also consider keeping some dog treats handy for guests who are eager to provide your pooch with a safe snack!

I would love to post daily, but recently i’ve been getting a lot of error messages when i try to do so. Deleting six entire years worth of photos/videos and clearing all unnecessary ish is still *not enough* to take new photos or even view olds ones. I groomed this sweet boy, Thor, last week 🐾 There’s no logical explanation for having “storage full” when i have less saved to my phone ever... For now, no new posts 😓
