Woodworth Ranch is a working cattle ranch located in the panhandle of Nebraska, northeast of Alliance where the hard grass meets the Sandhills. We are a proud Ranching Heritage Breeder. Woodworth Ranch horses are eligible for the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge. We raise and sell American Quarter Horses that have the proven capability to perform in and out of the arena: whether it is on a working

cattle ranch, barrel racing every weekend, a horse for the show pen, or a horse to take care of you on the trails. We strive to produce horses with outstanding conformation, intelligence, stamina, and disposition. Our horses are raised in Sandhill’s pastures where they travel the hills and develop natural muscle and stamina. Our stallions are not only bred for cow sense but also for speed. Our senior stallions are Zanadunn Bonanza “Dunny” & Lucky Ole Sol “Cutch.” Our junior stallion is PR Zans Lil Gunner “Snoopy.”

Wishing our friends, family, neighbors and all of our buyers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! FYI- the house phone is still not working! We have been without it since early September, several cancelled service appointments and constant run around from our provider. We have a new appointment next week… so we will see!! In the meantime, call our cellphones.

So proud of this dou! Aubrey and her 2022 Woodworth Ranch filly "Melody" that was donated to the AQHAYouth Development Program. They just won the Minnesota State Fair 4-H Horse Show in their 2nd Year Training Project. Pictures provided by Aubrey's mom!

The bay filly- Sugar N Maple is out of Toughsugarbars Louee our Sonny Sugar (Sugar Bars) and Shining Spark bred stallion. Her dam is a Sugar Bars, Leo, Peppy San and Poco Tivio bred mare. Maple is solid bay, not a stitch of white on her! She has a big hip, short back and gorgeous head. We are really liking the babies out of Louee.

Lil Skippin Liberty is the little sorrel filly of Kimberli's- out of a first time mama- a Zan Parr Bar and Skipper W bred mare. Liberty is sired by our senior stallion- PR Zans Lil Gunner, a Playgun, Zan Parr Bar and Smart Little Lena bred palomino stallion. This filly might be smaller but she is quick on her feet!

The red dun stallion is Zans Sugar Valor, sired by Toughsugarbars Louee and out a home raised mare- Zan Parr Bar, Coys Bonanza and Sugar Bars bred. Valor is thick b***d, heavy muscled and solid black feet!

Today dad is celebrating his birthday in heaven. Its hard to beleive its been almost 3 yrs, since we said goodbye. I went and checked the south group of mares after a trip to Scottsbluff for Dr. appt and then pt in Alliance. And my Blisz girl finally had her baby! I think it's fitting that his or her name will be Johnee!
