This old girl was picked up at the Dollar General in Alma on Sunday afternoon. She's pretty elderly and mostly blind, and missing a family! If you know where she may have come from, please let us know!

We will have a special guest at the vet clinic on Friday the 16th from 10 to noon. Sierra Gesick will be selling dog and cat treats as a fundraiser for a Washington D.C. trip. Come help us support her and get some tasty treats for your furry friends!

This guy is still looking for his forever home! He's super healthy and very friendly and well behaved overall. He seems to be mostly shepherd, is already neutered and about 2-3 years old.

Thus guy is up for adoption! We thought for sure someone would claim him, but no luck. He's probably 1-2 years old and was already neutered whe he came here! He's friendly and playful but has not had a lot of training yet. Would have to have a meet and greet with potential siblings, but has not shown any aggression so far. Call us if you would like to meet him!

Max is about a year and a half, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He is super friendly and doesn't seem to mind cats or other dogs. He weighs 28 pounds and should not get any bigger. Let us know if you want to meet him!

This sweet 3-legged boy was found in Alma today. Has a red & silver collar on with “Surridge’s Kennels 785-445-8590” on a metal tag. No microchip.

If you recognize him please let us know! We have not been able to reach anyone through that contact info on the collar.

Worried about antibiotic availability after June 2023?

For animal owners and producers that regularly use & communicate with their veterinarian there is no reason to worry! Most antibiotics (like draxxin, nuflor, excede just to name a few!) already were limited to prescription only use prior to this change.

This change is a way to create more uniform & clear guidelines for antibiotics used in all animal species so that we will be able to safely and responsibly continue to use these medications for years to come.

These drugs are not disappearing! They are just as available as before under the direction and care of your local veterinarians.

Ok, this guy is up for adoption! We think he's about 10 weeks old and a lab mix. Since he was a stray we don't know much about him, but he's super sweet and will probably be a large dog. Let us know if you are interested!
