Drop off your donations by next Thursday, 8/29 to Mrs. Dement (401), Mrs. Duran (412), or the VBFA Office and help us make a pawsitive impact. 🐾

All is well at Kamp K-9 after the storm. Some large limbs down up on mom’s portion of the property by her house but nothing near the kennel. Hope everyone stayed safe last night! 🙏🏼

Hello all! It’s been a while since we introduced ourselves so doing a little refresher. My name is Micah Boerjan, my husband is Christopher and our 18 month old son’s name is Camden. We are the owner-operators of Kamp K-9 & have been your trusted pet care choice for over TEN YEARS! Caring for pups is my full time job along with the full time job title of “Mom.” Chris is the office manager of Poor Boy Livestock Auction in Wister, OK and is also a licensed auctioneer for the state of Arkansas AND a licensed real estate agent with The Heritage Group.

We are so grateful for the many years of service to the River Valley and look forward to many more! Running this business definitely can have its challenges, but we have always tried to do our best and will continue to do so. The Lord has blessed us to do what we love. In addition to keeping all the pups, we own a herd of cattle and a small herd of cats. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Good morning! ☀️ As busy summer is here; just a couple reminders…all drop off & pickup is by appt during the posted office hours, so please let me know a specific time (and I don’t mean a range “2:00-4:00”, I mean “9:30” or “1:15”…specific. I have my toddler to think about now as well as the pups so this helps me so much.) Letting me know a day or 2 before is best. Also, be aware of the cancellation policy. I require at least 7 days notice for cancelling OR changing the reservation. If less than this is provided, 1/2 of the amount is still due & day-of cancellations are responsible for the full amount. If you “shorten” the stay within those 7 days before scheduled drop-off, you are essentially cancelling the other scheduled nights so 1/2 of the amount is still due on this as well. Once your campers are dropped off, the full amount is due as scheduled even in the event of an early pickup. Many boarding facilities are now requiring booking deposits anywhere from 1/2 to the full amount to even get on their schedule. I don’t want to have to do this so please be courteous. Let’s compare it to an hourly employee showing up expecting to work only to be told to go home, while they were expecting that income. 🤷🏻‍♀️ While we LOVE your fur kiddos and what we do, this IS a small business & how I support my family. I trust this is understandable & thank you for respecting me, my family, as well as my other customers. Looking forward to a great summer & as always, thank you for trusting us with your fur kiddos for over 10 years!!! 🫶🏼🐶

Y’all!!! We CANNOT believe we are celebrating 10 YEARS IN BUSINESS today! We appreciate our loyal customers and have loved serving our community. So much has occurred since opening in 2013. In the beginning, I ran the operations mostly by myself with my Mom’s help, married Chris in 2016, survived low booking numbers during COVID then both our Father’s passed within a month of each other in 2021. The highlight over the years has been the birth of our precious son, Camden, this past January. Through all the craziness, sadness, unsurety and celebrations, our customers remained loyal and supportive. What a blessing you have been to our small family business!

Because of your loyalty, we would like to celebrate by hosting a CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DROP IN on August 19th from 2:00 – 4:00pm. You will be able to tour the facility, visit with us, and enjoy light refreshments. Please leave your pets at home during this time. We do not offer tours due to the disruption it brings to our campers, so this will be the only opportunity. We hope you can come by for a visit.

MORE exciting news…we are now accepting NEW CUSTOMER/CAMPER bookings for boarding beginning in September. All new customers must adhere to our policies which are located on the website, www.kampk9dogkennels.com. We do not make exceptions regarding any of our policies. Please review these along with other important information before submitting booking requests. All inquiries are subject to availability.

Current and new customers be sure to review our updated cancellation policies prior to booking.

Good morning! CURRENT CUSTOMERS (if we’ve seen your campers in the last year) make sure to get your summer boarding requests sent to me! Some dates are already booked up. Yes, still only current customers at this time. I will post when/if we are able to accommodate new customers later this year.

Don’t forget I need 7 days notice for cancelling, otherwise fees will apply. Also if you pick up early, the full amount is still due. Many boarding facilities are requiring non-refundable deposits in order to simply book now. I have not done this yet but will if I must. Don’t make our sweet boy Camden get this sad face going when you wait too late to cancel & another pup could’ve had the cabin! 😉 Thanks for your understanding!

Also if you’re needing to book with Ms. Maci’s Mobile Grooming for a BATH/HAIRCUT…please check when you’re booking with me, not when you’re dropping them off or a couple days before pickup! Her schedule stays booked up about a month to 6 weeks out!

You all know we do our best to keep rates as low as possible but after 3 years of keeping rates stable, now there must be an increase.

That being said...we have always tried to improve the level of service provided to all of our campers and we will continue to make improvements so your fur babies can have the best experience possible! We hope the commitment to our customers & the level of care we offer grants us enough merit for you to meet the new rates with approval.

We already have quite a few reservations for 2023…current bookings for 2023 will NOT be charged the new rates, your fee will stay at the current rate.

****Until it is posted otherwise, we are still only booking current customers.

A few reminders (see website for our full policy list):
•campers sharing a cabin must have no food aggression
•campers must have the same owner in order to receive the multiple dog discount—most facilities don’t offer this, we do it as a courtesy so please don’t try to cheat us!

Yes, multiple dog discounts and long term discounts are combined when applicable! 😱

There are NO hidden fees & we don’t charge extra during the busy seasons or holidays! However, we do have one additional policy that must be put in place. I am getting entirely too many last minute cancellations over very busy weeks and holidays so I will need more of a commitment for those dates. We will now require a deposit equaling 1/2 of your stay amount at the time of booking for the following days:

Spring break
Memorial Day weekend
4th of July
Labor Day weekend
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Year’s

*If at least 7 days’ notice of cancellation is given you will refunded the deposit less a $25 cancellation fee. If less than 7 days’ notice is received then the deposit is forfeited.

Good morning! Tomorrow (Fri. Dec 23rd) is the last drop off day before Christmas & unfortunately I’ve been told by the doc as much bed rest as possible. Please let me know TODAY what time you’ll be dropping off tomorrow (8-5) to make it as easy as it can be on me. If I don’t hear by about 6-7pm tonight I’ll contact you.
