Hello friends! 🐾 I’m getting LOTS of messages about wanting to bring pups to meet me and/or book one night stays to see how they do with the boarding routine. Please understand I’m not being rude, simply speaking from over 15 years of boarding experience: it doesn’t do any good to bring pups by to meet me, as they often behave COMPLETELY different when “mom & dad” are not around—I need one on one time with them for the best outcome. If you’re concerned about leaving them for longer stays, my suggestion is booking a minimum of 2 nights once or twice before a longer stay in order for them to get acclimated to me and our routine. Thanks for your understanding and considering our services for your pet needs! 🐾❤️

🌺 SPRING BREAK 2025 IS A WRAP!!🌴

All clean, dishes & laundry done & READY for the next round of campers after the MASS EXODUS we had over the last 2 days! Thank you for trusting us as always!

Here’s your budget-friendly option for dog care for those summer vacays! Located on 4 private country acres—fresh air and no busy traffic concerns like in town, Kamp K-9 has been serving the River Valley for 12 years! Book early before our schedule is full!

Helpful hints & important info:
🐾 Campers must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo, & bordetella vaccines
🐾 Our boarding style is large indoor cabins w/elevated beds (4x4, 4x8, 5x5, 5x10 options) for each camper or for those from the same family sharing—outside playtime throughout the day, supervised group play organized by size, age, temperament—OR individual play if you prefer your dog(s) go outside alone. Finally, we do late night walks for one last potty break before bedtime.
🐾 Please provide your own dog food—let’s keep those bellies regulated!
🐾 Include measuring scoops in their food when packing up your camper’s things OR tell me the correct amount to measure (sometimes y’all tell me you feed them “a cup” when you really mean a huge 32 oz plastic cup from a Casey’s gas station 😂🤣)
🐾 Send any medication we will need to administer. If it’s an excessive amount, please check with me first—sorry, no shots.
🐾 Tell your babies they’re going to Kamp for a vacay too! Keep it positive! They feed off your energy—if you’re acting like it’s an awful thing, they can sense it and will have a harder time adjusting to the new experience.
🐾 Be aware of all policies especially cancellations. Make your drop off/pickup appts. BE PROMPT FOR THOSE APPTS!

Bookings have been blowing up since we announced we’re accepting new campers! Don’t miss out for those summer vacays!

Basic info:
•campers must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo, & bordetella vaccines
•nightly rates start @ $25 & we offer significant multiple 🐶 discounts (rates posted in comments)
•drop offs & pickups by appt during posted hours
•all bedding and supplies are provided by us—you just bring their food!
•indoor cabins of many sizes so campers have room to walk around even when not outside for potty & play. Multiple pups from the same family can share a cabin providing there are NO food aggression issues and they are on the same type of food. Outdoor playtimes throughout the day and a final late night walk before bedtime. Group play not required but is available if you request it.
•located in Kibler on 4 country acres so plenty of fresh air and no traffic concerns (my mom’s house is on-site as well)
•small nonrefundable deposit required to reserve.

Final post for today I promise! Wanted to let our customers know that we will NOT be closed in October anymore as I have Maci from Ms. Maci’s Mobile Grooming on board to hold down the fort for me! I wouldn't let just anyone handle our campers, she is EXCELLENT! She's helped me on many many many occasions over the last 6 years and knows your fur kiddos just as well as I do! She will, however, still have some grooming to do for her own business so this will be LIMITED AVAILABILITY and smaller windows for drop off & pickup during that week as to not overwhelm her and still maintain the best care for your babies (October 18-25). I will post the info for drop off/pickup windows as soon as we have it nailed down. Last thing: bookings during that week will ONLY be for returning campers, no first time visits. This will be mine and Chris' first vacation in 4 years and the first trip since having Camden (our 2 year old) so we are READY and EXCITED!! Thanks so much for your understanding as always! Wanted to do a quick reminder that Ms. Maci’s Mobile Grooming is still available for small/medium dogs if you’d like to schedule a bath or groom service before you pick up the fur kiddos! She books up FAST with her in-home appointments so please book with her early if you’d like to add this on to your appt. She will not be able to accommodate if you don’t tell us until you’re dropping off! Thank you again for supporting BOTH of our small businesses! HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉

*as always will post if anything changes. & we are boarding on office closed dates, just no drop off/pickups on those posted dates.

**Please remember all drop offs and pickups are done by specific appt times. Also please stay aware of cancellation policies—an issue I’ve noticed this year is not being notified of an earlier pickup until you’ve dropped off—if this is the case, the total fee remains the same as it does not allow me enough time to fill an opening and is essentially a day-of cancellation. Thank you SO much for your understanding on this. Thank you for another great year! Looking forward to serving you again in 2025! 🎉

All is well at Kamp K-9 after the storm. Some large limbs down up on mom’s portion of the property by her house but nothing near the kennel. Hope everyone stayed safe last night! 🙏🏼
