🚨 Urgent Need 🚨
‼️ Before This Coming Arctic Weather🚨

‼️ We are in need of blankets again… we will take any.. one layer, comforter, heated… small.. big… old…new… if you have any to donate please get in touch with us… thank you!

We also need shavings AND straw… running low on both & do not want to risk running out over this coming weather expected temps… if you sell straw locally (if deliver that’s even better..) please pm or text us… 810-751-0201…

If anyone wants to help us with purchasing some Tractor Supply in Imlay City has stringed bales they sell. Not the best price but reasonable.

Due to our current family/personal circumstances we posted about a few days back we are missing a few key helpers that do a lot of out lifting & muscle power so we missed ability to our weekly pick up this week.

And as always we have to add this disclaimer here to that person who will actual message us or post negatively... NO we will not let us run out of straw … we will find, buy, & get it here…as a rescue we put out our needs when urgent… in case help is there and willing. We are non profit & any donation is tax deductible for folks. We do everything here off our own family and any donations we receive. Thank you to everyone who follows us!

⚠️ Notice: As of today Sunday 01/12/2025 we are temporarily halting intakes of roosters (and all birds) until 01/28/2025. It’s just two weeks but we do receive a lot of inquiries so we don’t want inconvenience folks. ⚠️ (it has nothing to do with the bird flu chatter but everything to do with personal family circumstances this week.)

We also will be setting a response time for things as estimated 48-72 hours response timing for all emails, applications, questions… BUT in an emergency or urgent need to reach us you can send a text to 810-751-0201. For the next ten days we will be deep involved in a significant family circumstance that falls just short of calling it a family emergency & our complete concentration & attention is needed for that. So between animal care and personal management there will be delays replying.

If we’ve already been in active communication for adoptions and fostering we will still be in touch with you this week.

🎉 2024 in a nutshell…
37 pigs, 8 horses, 3 sheep, several goats, many chickens & ducks, a few rabbits..& even several kittens have entered our gates this 2024 year… handfuls of adoptions & many supportive & amazing folks we have met… Here’s to 2025 folks! Praying for miracles… praying for another year we can be here… Thank you to all those who stand strong supporting us and keeping us going with your love n commitments to us!

Young piglets! We have two sisters who are 14 weeks old and we are taking applications and interest on these girls for adoption or fostering. They have been accustom to being put in cooler weather AND they are also litter box trained! They are skittish and need help with socialization but they are very curious!
