BOSTON TERRIER - "American Gentleman"
The Boston Terrier is ranked as the 24th popular breed in registrations with the AKC. Boston Terriers is a strong gentle breed with a friendly, happy go lucky personality. They get along well with children, all people, and other pets, if properly socialized. Both males and females are generally quiet which makes them excellent choiced for apartment living.

Did You Know:
A cat's whisker is a highly sensitive touch receptor, much like a humans fingers, only a bit more advanced. A whisker can pick up the slightest changes in air currents and vibrations! 😺 Cats use their whiskers to sense nearby objects in the dark, measure gaps, and determine the widths of openings. Some flat-faced cats, like the Persian, Himalayan, have more prominent whiskers.

Nurse Becky would like to remind you to keep all medications (yours and other pets) locked up and out of the reach of the pets in your home. Our urgent care team spent the first 3 hours of our day helping a pup who got hold of a bottle of Asprin for dogs. She ingested a very toxic amount. We do believe that this was caught early enough, and with the care from Dr. Struble & team, this pup should make a full recovery.

*Dogs who are white, no fur/hair, and even those who have light fur CAN suffer from sunburn.

*Even with the windows down, the inside of a car can heat up to 120°

Update: Thank you for all of your support and concern! This pup was stabilized and received care all through the weekend at TBVUC but we still need to find her owner. She is scheduled for surgery at Switzer Veterinary Clinic today (April 15). Donations are greatly appreciated to help defray the cost of the best care possible; please call SVC at 989-356-4880.

PLEASE HELP US FIND THE OWNER! This young female was found in the Lincoln area with major trauma and brought in by a Good Samaritan. TBVUC is trying to stabilize her but desperately needs to find the owner. Call 989-340-0975.
