We were honored to team up with Second Chance Animal Shelter for their 2nd SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) Clinic, helping neuter 23 male cats! 🐱✨ These efforts are crucial in reducing pet overpopulation and ensuring a healthier future for our feline friends.

🤩 Wow - what a day!! Thank you to Dr. Jill and the team from Sunrise Veterinary Services who partnered with our volunteers to host our 2nd SNAP (Spay Neuter Assistance Program) Clinic to get 23 male kitties neutered. This program is only possible through grant funding and teaming up with Sunrise to make it happen. As many of you know Tammi is the back bone to our clinic and keeps all of us on task while giving excellent customer service. She is the voice you hear on the phone, the client’s biggest cheerleader, the staff’s “work mom”, and most passionate veterinary staff member!

Tammi went with us to Florida last week for the VMX vet conference but unfortunately on the first night there she had to have emergency abdominal surgery. She is still in the hospital in Orlando and trying to get answers. Today, she had another procedure in hope that she may be able to fly home by the end of the week.

Please keep her in your thoughts. We want Tammi to get better! We all miss her! ❤️

🦷🐶🐱 February is Pet Dental Health Month! 🦷🐶🐱

Did you know that dental disease is one of the most common health issues in pets? Here are some signs that your pet might be experiencing dental problems:

✔ Eating difficulties
✔ Red gums
✔ Stained teeth
✔ Loose or broken teeth
✔ Tumors on gums
✔ Pawing at the mouth and excessive drooling

👉 The basic strategy is to prevent, reduce, or remove bacterial plaque from your pet’s teeth on a regular basis. You can do this at home by brushing their teeth and making it part of their routine! However, even with the best at-home care, pets still need professional dental assessments and cleanings from their veterinarian.

Just like humans, pets require regular dental check-ups to maintain their oral and overall health. A veterinary exam at least once a year is essential for keeping their teeth (and body) in top shape!

While we're learning and growing, our clinic will still be open! We'll be running on a smaller crew, but rest assured, we'll continue to see appointments and our after-hours emergency services will remain available. 🏥🚑
