Kathleen Raine will be returning to Seventh Hand Farm in Milton, Georgia on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 30.

The last clinic was a huge success. Everyone enjoyed their lessons and learned so much.

There are only a few spots left so please message me if you would like to ride with one of the best international riders/trainers! You will not regret it!

Auditors are also welcome. A light lunch will be available as well as a wine and cheese meet and greet following the last ride on Saturday.

Kathleen Raine is a two-time Olympic dressage team alternate, FEI Nations Cup Silver medalist, and FEI World Games Bronze medalist. Kathleen co-owns Adventure Farms in Murrieta, California, with her husband and fellow dressage professional David Wightman. Kathleen was part of the United States Dressage Bronze medal team at the FEI World Equestrian Games on Avontuur in 1994. The same year, she and Avontuur were the U.S. League Final Champions. Kathleen was an alternate for the U.S. Dressage Team at the Olympic Games in both 1996 and 2000. In 2006, Kathleen and Breanna won the six-year-old division at the Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Western Selection Trials for the FEI World Breeding Championship. Kathleen has been successful in numerous Grand Prix competitions throughout the U.S. and Europe

“Hi everyone, after a step back from training I am thankful to say I am now training out of Windcrest Farms located in Clarksburg Maryland. This facility has 3 openings for horses by the end of June, 2 stalls that are 12’ x 12” and 1 stall that is 12’ x 16” with each stall coming with a personal fan for each horse. The facility also has an indoor arena that is 76x190 with full mirrors and new footing consisting of a sand and rubber mix that was constructed with French drains that allows for excellent drainage. The property also comes with beautiful hills for conditioning and paddocks for horses. This is an excellent opportunity and I am ready to get back into training and help new clients achieve their dream! If you have questions please contact me!”

71.034% for Gustavia in the I1 at the Vada/Nova Summer Wind Down I! Looking forward to the Championships in Lexington, Virginia in October. Very successful show at Dressage at Lexington this past weekend! Our four year old, Masolino scoring a 71.897 under Cesar Torrente! Only the second time in the show ring for him! And Gustavia winning FEI High Score in the I1 with a 70.888! So proud of both of our beautiful boys!

Great experience at the VADA/Nova Summer Dressage show at Morven Park! Gustavia and I finished 2nd with a 66.47 with Lilo Fore and a first place finish with Kristi Wysocki with a 67.2. So happy with Gustavia and how hard he works for me. Lots of improvements still needed but we are headed in the right direction!!!

Kathleen Raine Clinic - June 5 & 6

Kathleen Raine has been a central figure in competitive dressage in the U.S. for nearly two decades. She has represented the U.S. in international competitions many times, competed in the sport’s most prestigious events, and won numerous championships. In both 1996 and 2000, Kathleen was an alternate for the U.S. Dressage Team at the Olympic Games. In 2006, Kathleen and Breanna won the six-year-old division at the Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Western Selection Trials for the FEI World Breeding Championship. In January 2011, Breanna made her first Grand Prix appearances at Dressage Getaway, winning their first two classes. They went on to qualify and compete at Gladstone where they placed fourth. After Gladstone, USEF awarded Kathleen a grant to train and compete in Europe for six weeks. In 2012, Kathleen and Breanna have consistently been in the top three in the California CDI Grand Prix and Grand Prix Specials. In 2013 Kathleen and Breanna led the U.S. Team to a Second Place finish at the Dressage at Hickstead CDIO3* FEI Nations Cup. Kathleen works with Jo Hinnemann while in Europe as well as at home in California.
