BUZZ ~~ Domestic Shorthair, Neutered Male, Black & White Tuxedo, 9.5 pounds,

DOB: 7/15/2014, Special Needs Kitty

Meet our handsome boy, Buzz. If you are looking for a “velcro” kitty to keep you company and share your life with, Buzz is your guy. This kitty is super sweet and loves giving and receiving attention from everyone who walks by. He sticks his paw out of his cage to get your attention and meows until you pet him. He makes biscuits and does not know what a stranger is.

His adoption fee is $144 and includes a HomeAgain microchip and one month of Revolution Plus to go home (for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and ear mites).

OTHER PETS/KIDS? Buzz may do well with calm and non-aggressive pets in the home. Being chased by another pet would not be suitable for Buzz, as he can be unsteady on his feet. We always recommend a slow and controlled introduction for a week or two. Buzz should be fine with children as well.

MEDICAL: Buzz has a negative f***l test and combo test and has begun his vaccines and other vet services. He will come to his new home with one month of Feline Revolution Plus for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and ear mites. Any additional vaccines are not included in his adoption fee and are the sole financial responsibility of his new owner.

SPECIAL NEEDS: Buzz needs to be an indoor only pet. Buzz does have some neurological deficits that make him a little unsteady on his feet, but those have improved since he has been in our care. His quirks just make him that much more lovable ~~ and they don’t seem to bother him in the least. Buzz just wants to love you and be loved in return.

To meet Buzz, visit him at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing. Monday to Friday 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing to meet any of our adoptable strays.
*Eligible for our Seniors for Seniors program.

UPDATE ADOPTED
BOOTS ~~ Spayed Female, Domestic Shorthair, Orange and White Tabby, 6.5 pounds, DOB: 7/11/2024
** Yes, she's a rare female Orange cat. Most Orange cats are male**

Are you looking for an adorable, curious, cuddly, always playful female orange tabby? These sweet orange ladies don’t come around very often, but we have been lucky enough to have a few over the years. With her purr-fect demeanor and fun-loving attitude, this petite orange beauty will not last very long!

Boots' $144 adoption fee includes a HomeAgain microchip and one month of Feline Revolution Plus (monthly topical treatment for heartworms, fleas, ticks, intestinal parasites and ear mites).

Boots requests to live indoors only ~~ she was rescued by a Good Samaritan from living outside on the streets ~~ and has quickly become very accustomed to the finer things in life (regular meals, a cozy bed and lots of love). She's super cuddly.

Boots has begun her vaccines and vet services, is healthy, bright and alert, and has a negative combo and f***l test. Any additional vaccines or vet services required after adoption are the sole financial responsibility of her new owner and are NOT included in the $144 adoption fee.

To meet Boots visit Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Monday to Friday 630AM to 7PM, Saturday and Sunday 8AM to 4PM.

We are closed on all major holidays. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing to meet any of our adoptable pets. No appointment is required.

CAN YOU HELP? WE NEED A FOSTER HOME FOR ROSS.

HE’S AN AMAZING BOY~~SMART, LOVING, GREAT PERSONALITY.

Ross has been at Crabapple for OVER TWO LONG YEARS. We’re looking for a permanent foster home for him with one of our great clients. Ross deserves to have a wonderful life out of a cage and will thrive in a home with a family of his own to love. We will provide all of his food, medications, and vet services, baths, etc. You provide lots of love and a place for Ross to live. Interested? Call the Clinic or come meet him. First come, first served.

ROSS ~~ Boxer Mix, Fawn and White, Neutered Male, 68 pounds, Birthdate: 12/27/2021

Are you a dog lover looking for a special dog to add to your family? Come meet Ross and see if he checks off all the boxes. Ross is looking for his forever person.... someone who "gets him" and can't live without him. Is that you? He’s dog selective and may do very well in a home with another similarly sized, friendly and non-aggressive pup, once they meet and have a slow, controlled proper canine introduction. Ross will not do well in a home with cats or other small animals.

FAVORITE THINGS IN THE WORLD: Ross absolutely loses his mind when you play fetch with him. He loves to chase the tennis ball and brings it back to anyone who will play! Tug of war is another huge favorite. He loves playing games with everyone. After playtime, Ross enjoys movie marathons on the couch (if invited). Ross would be considered a super chewer and will need to have some tough chew toys available for him to gnaw on and amuse himself with.

FUN FACTS: Ross is very gentle, intelligent, playful, and curious about his surroundings. He enjoys belly rubs, learning new things and would do well in any family situation: with an active couple, single person or family with older kids. He may not be the best candidate with very small kids ~~ he may jump up on them in excitement. However, with a little practice and training, he could learn not to do this. He’s pretty good on the leash but is a strong boy in need of a strong, confident, capable handler.
Ross is energetic, fun-loving, gentle, playful and goofy. He would love a fenced backyard to run around in. Do you have some cool toys, like to go for hikes or go running? Even better! Ross is food/treat motivated and would enjoy being by your side wherever you go!

OTHER PETS: Ross is dog selective and should do well in a home with another similarly sized, friendly dog. They should have a slow and controlled proper canine introduction. We always suggest a meeting of other dogs prior to adoption to ensure a smooth transition to a new home. Ross will not do well in a home with cats or other small animals.

HEALTH/MEDICAL/DIET: Ross is up to date on vet services, vaccines, is microchipped, neutered, and has a negative heartworm and f***l test. Ross has some food sensitivity issues and needs to remain on his special diet and special treats (which you can get from us whenever needed). He could also have some fruits and veggies as treats (carrots, peppers, green beans…so many fun things for Ross to try). Ross is on medication for boarding-related anxiety. He should be able to be slowly weaned off them once his is settled into his new home and happy in his surroundings.

COME MEET ROSS AT Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM. Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. Closed on all major holidays.

MIMI (white short hair) & SASHA (tan & white long hair) ~~ Senior Chihuahuas, Spayed Females, BONDED PAIR, both born in 2012, 5 pounds
** BONDED PAIR and MUST be adopted together. $144 adoption fee for both little ladies.**

Do you have a special place in your heart for senior pets? Are you able to adopt a bonded pair of senior Chihuahuas with heart disease and give them an amazing home to live out their remaining years? They must be adopted together because this is all they know.

Little Mimi and Sasha are lap dogs who enjoy being carried around and fussed over. They use puppy p*e pads and rarely go outdoors. They both have heart disease which is well controlled on their medications. And we will be able to send home a very good supply of these medications with their new owners.

Since they are seniors, they are eligible for our Seniors for Seniors Adoption Program. If they are adopted by a senior citizen, we will waive their adoption fee and offer their owner a 20% discount on all future vet services, medications, food, etc., for the remainder of their lives.

These sweet little ladies must be adopted together and are hoping to find a great retirement home to go to for their remaining “golden years.” Please consider giving Mimi and Sasha a second chance at a great life. They love to sleep together in their cozy bed and are inseparable.

They are finishing up their vaccines and vet services and will go home with medications, some food, and a one-month supply of heartworm, flea-tick medication.

Their adoption fee is half off and we are offering both pets for $144 since they must go to the same home. If you have space in your heart and home for the sweetest little Chi Girls ever, come and meet Mimi and Sasha today to see if they are a match for you.

If you are interested in adopting little Mimi and Sasha, come meet them at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM, Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing. long

FOSTER HOME NEEDED WHILE PET IS UNDERGOING HEARTWORM TREATMENT.

NORTON (Heartworm Positive and Undergoing Treatment), PitBull, Male, White, 64 pounds.

We are looking for one of our amazing Crabapple Knoll clients to foster (you can also adopt Norton) one of our strays who is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. We will pay for all of Norton's treatment, medicine, food, and will neuter and microchip him once he is cleared. There is a protocol that must be strictly followed (give monthly Heartgard, leash walk only, NO strenuous exercise of ANY kind, rechecks with one of our vets on a regular basis). He needs a foster who is dependable and who will follow his heartworm protocol closely, no exercise ~~ and give him lots of love! We will provide everything Norton needs.

Norton will be undergoing his treatment for several months and we would love to get him out of the cage and into a home where he is not confined and can be part of a family. If, after fostering Norton, you would like to adopt him, we would love that! Come and meet him today to see if he is a good match for your family. If there are any other pets in the home, they must meet a few times beforehand to ensure a good placement.

NORTON is the sweetest guy you have ever met. He thinks he is a lapdog and loves everyone he meets. This guy does not know what a stranger is and seems fine with other friendly dogs and even cats (he doesn't pay any attention to them). Norton is food aggressive and should be fed in his crate if there are other dogs in the home.

ABOUT NORTON: Sweet boy, very gentle and calm, super smart and very easily trainable. He is a strong guy but the nicest dog you will ever meet and is a staff favorite. He knows how to sit and give you his paw and would love to learn some other cool tricks!

If you are interested in fostering Norton, come and meet him at Crabapple Knoll Vet Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Road, Alpharetta, GA. 770.475.8272. Weekdays 630AM to 7PM, Saturday & Sunday 8AM to 4PM. We are closed on all major holidays. Please visit at least two hours prior to closing.
