Hip and elbow X rays look good and have been submitted to WUSV.

Close up lines to Kinski, Lennox, Drago.

Hard fast full grips. Started in IGP obedience and protection. Excellent sport prospect.

Maggie is not a large female and will mature at the bottom of the standard. She is about 22” at the withers now, and weighed 55 (thin) pounds at x ray. She will likely be just over 60 pounds at maturity.

What a crazy Monday it was at Delaney Working Dogs!

First the good news!

Frito z Tammik, IGP 3, a normal hips and elbows, DM clear delivered 8 healthy puppies monday evening. 4 males and 4 females sired by Hopper v. Brachtpetal, IGP 3.

Pups best suited to working homes.

The bad news?
I retested my SG 1 Vasco v Tiekerhook, IGP 3, a normal hips and elbows, DM clear, LUW 0.
He is unfortunately still sterile. 🙁

Since Vasco can not fit into our breeding program he is being offered for sale.
I’d love to find him a home where he can continue sport work or be an active companion for someone.
Are you a hiker or jogger in need of some intimidation at your side? Vasco would fit nicely there. He adores women and kids and loves hiking.

I’ll be making separate posts for both of these offerings after recovering from a late night!

Frito had 4 boys and 4 girls on Monday April 15th. All healthy and doing great.

I’ve been staying pretty quiet about this breeding until I could confirm it.

Just over 4 years old.

Would make a great dog to help someone learn and get on the field right away.
High drive with a good off switch. Pretty easy to handle. No handle aggression. Takes correction well. No environmental issues.

Very social.

Also could make a great home companion/ protection dog. Solid nerve. Not reactive in any way. Would make a great hiking/jogging companion for someone who wants a bit of deterrence along with them.

NOT FOR BREEDING

Vasco is available because he has become sterile. He sired 3 litters for me then we had a miss. I had him checked and he is sterile.

Vasco v. Tiekerhook makes IGP 3!

Vasco earned his IGP 3 today at Wildwood Schutzhund Club in Pacific, Missouri with scores of 96-86-90= 272!
Thanks Karla Haydon and the Wildwood crew for hosting a great trial. And Thanks Al Govednik for giving your time to come judge for us.
Also thanks to Brian Cox, Steve Gasich and Donovan Delaney for your training assistance this year getting Vasco ready.

It’s been a full year for Vasco, earning his AD, show rating (SG) breed survey (passed) and now his 3! I think I’ll give him a day off tomorrow. 😂🔥🍀
