Cats are naturally curious and can be drawn to warm spots in the house. Use secure barriers like screens or baby gates to prevent access to fireplaces, stoves, and heaters. Extinguish candles and never leave them unattended, as a playful swipe from your cat can quickly lead to disaster. Opt for flameless candles as a safer alternative.

Love is in the air! 🐱🐾💕

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, which means gifts for our loved ones. While these gifts are romantic gestures, they can create an unintended dangers for your pets!

XYLITOL - an sugarless sweetener that is commonly found in many candies and gums; such as chocolate. This additive is TOXIC to pets.

RIBBONS - keep any ribbons and wrapping paper away from your pet as this can cause an obstruction.

FLOWERS - Bouquets are beautiful, however, certain flowers (lilies) are deadly to cats. The pollen alone can cause toxicity when ingested.

In case of any ingestion, please give us a call.

UPDATE as of 1/12/2024 - Toast has been adopted!

🐱KITTEN FOR ADOPTION🐱

Hello, my name is Toast! The hospital staff found me at their front door with a loaf of bread, hence the name, Toast. 🍞

I am 6 months old, neutered male, microchipped and have one more round of vaccines. I tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia. The adoption fee is $80 and covers the next round of vaccines.

I love to chat with the humans daily, explore the hospital and play with wand toys! My favorite part of my day is when they give me snuggles and pets, then the biscuit machine turns on. I can be a bit scared when it comes to loud and sudden noises. I seem to really enjoy the company of another cat.

If you want to meet me, call the Cat Hospital at 407-831-9810. 🐾
