Another great training experience! This is the 3rd course we've taken here, and we learn new techniques and tips every time. We spend over $15K per year doing onsite training with specialists in the fields of dentistry, ophthalmology, and surgery.

Why? Because we know we are the ONLY hope for many animals and owners out there. We spent years doing urgent care and working at a specialty surgery & dentistry center in order to get ready for this.

We believe we have a higher responsibility to provide top-notch care to the animals who have no other option. We are open to all, but our priority is serving those who can't afford full-service/emergency veterinarians--there are plenty of places for those with abundant financial resources.

Our flat-rate prices, as well as a list of services, are posted on our website. We are regularly adding to the surgeries we offer, so feel free to contact us with any requests. We do not do orthopedics, but recommend Kelley's Animal Clinic in Walker, for those procedures.

Do all things with love,
Dr. Amy

As a veterinarian, a key part of our job is advancing the knowledge of pet owners.

We have over 20 years of experience in animal rescue, sheltering, and veterinary medicine. We have put together a 1-page flyer on the 4 key topics we wish pet owners knew more about (with the exception of spay/neuter).

Please feel free to print/copy/share far and wide!

The Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association defines economic euthanasia as “a condition in which euthanasia is elected based primarily, principally, or to a large degree on the cost of veterinary medical care.”

Veterinary costs have skyrocketed in the past few years, and we are here to help. By reducing the cost of many common/urgent surgical and dental procedures, we often save people between 30-80% on their pet’s surgical bill. We can be reached 7 days a week and look forward to helping you and your family avoid becoming another sad statistic of “economic euthanasia”.

Last night we were contacted by a rescue, asking if we could do an urgent surgery this morning. A ~6 month old kitten with a puncture wound on its side had made its way to the ER. The owner surrendered it once they were given a surgical estimate they could not afford.

That's where we come in. We'll never know if the owners could have kept her if they had found us on their own, but kitty survived surgery and we will keep her and monitor her for a few days before she returns to the rescue.

Meet Patches, a kitty believed to be missing an eyeball and expected to live her life with just 1 eye. Once we saw her, we were pretty sure we could fix it.

We do a LOT of eye surgeries here. Enucleations, eyelid/conjunctiva disorders, pr*****ed eyeballs, etc. We train onsite with ophtho specialists every year, and are grateful for the opportunities to help animals regain their sight and live better lives.

We have had a busy few weeks, working primarily on eye surgeries and dentals. We are also donating supplies to Quick Fix Veterinary Clinic for their subsidized cat spay/neuter surgeries during the month of January.

On Saturday, January 6, ALL male cat neuters are $35 (must have 2 descended testicles and be in good health), and during these entire month of January, all cat spays/neuters are $35 for anyone on public assistance, and all college students. Go to their FB page for more information, and their website to sign up!
