We are posting our precious Areil to re-home her. She is 9 1/2 years old and has just been to the vet and has had all the shots and flea medicine. She has also been spayed and has a chip. She is very friendly towards people, but she needs to be the only pet because she doesn't do well around other cats or dogs. She loves to lie around and be petted and belly rubbed. She is a little overweight, as you can tell in pictures. We are moving out of the country, and unfortunately, we can't take her with us. We are looking for someone who will give her a good home and take great care of our baby. We are moving on the first of the year. We are trying to place her well before we leave, so if there are any concerns, we will be here to address them. If at all possible, we would like to visit her a time or two before leaving the country after she’s been adopted.

Black Dog Looking for a New Home
Zelda must have a fenced-in yard.
A reference check, including your veterinarian, and a home visit will be required.
I will either transport myself or arrange a reliable transport.
She would need to be an only dog or be partnered with a very tolerant male. She can be very possessive of her owner and sometimes snaps at other dogs while being petted.
She is amazing with kids and seems to have an instinct to be gentle with small kids and babies, actually gently placing her forehead to theirs.
She is so incredibly sweet and so desperate for love and attention!
She is highly intelligent and desperately seems to want to please. Sweet
Zelda does have a jumping problem. She is still very much a puppy and will jump on adults.
For the most part, she does very well with her house training. She does need to go out regularly during the day. She can go all night in her crate without an accident.
She has been spayed and is current on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention.
