Animals are full of surprises! Here are some fun and fascinating facts about our furry, feathery, and scaly friends:

🐶 Dogs’ noses are unique! A dog’s nose print is just as unique as a human fingerprint. No two are the same!

🐱 Cats communicate with humans differently. Cats rarely meow to communicate with each other—most of their meowing is for us!

🐾 Paws up! Did you know dogs and cats sweat through their paw pads? That’s why you might see little paw prints on a hot day!

🦉 Owls have zany necks! An owl can rotate its head about 270 degrees—how freaky would that be if we could do that 😳

🐟 Fish are clever. Some fish can recognize their owners and even learn tricks!

How to Prepare Your Pet for a Visit

Making your pet’s visit stress-free starts with a little preparation! 🐾 Here are some tips to help everything go smoothly:

1️⃣ Potty Breaks: Be sure to take your dog for a potty break before our appointment. For cats, a clean litter box helps keep them calm before and after the visit.

2️⃣ Comfort Items: Bring along a favorite treats to keep your pet feeling secure and happy during their appointment.

3️⃣ Health Updates: If there’s anything new about your pet’s health or behavior, let me know in advance so I can provide the best care possible.

4️⃣ Timing is Key:
•If it’s a house call, make sure the space is ready and free of distractions.
•If coming to me, please arrive no earlier than 10 min in advanced and if you’re going to be late please notify me asap to let me know how long as we may have to reschedule as this can throw my appts off after

5️⃣ Stay Calm: Pets pick up on your energy. Staying relaxed and positive helps them feel the same way! If you’re anxious, they will become anxious.

6️⃣ Medication : if your pet requires medication to help with this process please give the night before AND morning of if appt is before noon. If it is after noon please give in the morning and 2 hours prior to

Nail Trim vs. Dremel: What’s the Difference?🐾

I get this question a lot, so here’s a quick breakdown!

Take a close look at the photos:
• First pic: Before trimming.
• Middle pic: After a basic nail trim (clipped).
• Bottom pic: After using the Dremel.

🔹 Why Dremel?
1️⃣ It smooths and rounds the edges of the nail, so they’re not sharp.
2️⃣ I can safely get the nails shorter, especially with darker nails, because the Dremel allows more control.

With nail clipping, I have to trim little by little since the quick (the sensitive part of the nail) can be tricky to spot—especially on dark nails. With the Dremel, I get a better “warning” as I approach the quick, giving me more precision and a safer result for your pet.

The result? Shorter and softer nails! 🐾

The new year is coming soon which means the changes are coming.

Starting Jan 1 I will be doing this full time to be there for your pets needs. And I’m am hoping that business is good and can work on getting a mobile unit

I pride myself on transparency. My page has all my pricing and answers to FAQs. So if you’re new to my page, please take a moment to look at that.

Info to know:
•Starting Jan 1 Under no circumstances will I be working Sundays or Wednesdays. I am looking for more consistency of work:life balance and those will be my set days off for family time
•Grooming prices only (haircut) Is the only increase you will see.
Baths and a la carte services will stay the same and will be locked in for the year!!!

I thank all of you who’ve given me a chance. I am so thankful and honored that I have been able to help you and your pets, and grown bonds to some that have been with me from the beginning.
