Kodak is such a beautiful boy! Unfortunately, he has been dealing with some abcesses around his heel bulbs. A temporary placement of a backwards shoe protects and shifts the weight off the heels, while improving breakover time. Hopefully, this sweet boy will be feeling better soon.

Talk about some amazing before and after results! Wildflower, the pony, was very overgrown and had trouble walking. It took multiple trimming sessions to allow her stretched ligaments and gait to adjust to her new hooves. Still a work in progress, but she is moving in the right direction. ❤️🐴

There’s more than one way to skin a cat… or trim a pony.

Libby, the pony, is not a huge fan of having her feet trimmed and usually whoops us all. She is a strong little thing! The owners brother built this awesome pony stock that tilts into a table, and so we gave it a try. Libby was much calmer, and we were able to evaluate some issues she has been having while keeping everyone safe. 🐴🩷

Sunny got a new Morrison Roller shoe today to correct a slight club foot deformity. Sunny just turned a year old and this was his first big boy farrier experience. He did awesome! According to the X-rays and our veterinarians opinion, we should be able to correct the deformity within a couple of shoeing cycles. 🐴
