Burget Mill is a 5th generation family owned business that was established in 1896. We have been milling corn and making feed for over 120 years!

As one of the last custom mix and grind mills in Polk County we take pride in providing a quality feed for all of your animal needs. As a Kent Feeds dealer we can provide complete nutrition for all of your livestock. From poultry, cattle, equine, show animals and even your pet Llama’s Kent will have a feed for you. We also make custom made feeds to meet your special needs. We of course could not f

It’s that time of year again!

The elf’s paid us another visit to make reindeer feed for the kiddo’s to spread out for Christmas Eve.

🚨🚨New Product Alert!!🚨🚨

Bark Bars and Quirkies.

When I place my pet food order I like to browse through the catalog and see if there is anything cool. Since we are more farm store than boutique pet store a lot of the cool stuff isn't really practical to bring in.

For as long as I've been at the mill we have always had a box of candy bars on the counter. Sure, we would sell some here and there, but really it was an excuse to have easy access to stuff our faces.
Because the cats knock everything on the floor we have not had candy bars for a while, but when I saw that these were on promotion I had to get a few boxes!

Quirkies are just fun shaped treats. These are shaped like the mail man and cats. They have others, including a few naughtier offerings, Sadly they were out of stock on those. I brought in two boxes. One for me, and one to sell.

I also had a request for hot pepper suet. Since squirrels have typical taste buds they hate it, but birds can't taste so it's fine.

If you made it this far I am overstocked on Back Gold dog food. It is currently $5 off per bag until it's gone.
